obscure brand & labeling
Aagummm’s magnesium comes in an opaque 90-count bottle with a child-safe push-down screw-on lid. The capsules are made of hypromellose (HPMC), a plant-based alternative to gelatin. They measure almost an inch long.Magnesium glycinate is a chelated form of magnesium that is highly absorbable. Unlike many forms of magnesium, it’s gentle on the stomach and doesn’t have a laxative effect. However, the last product picture on the left shows that the magnesium glycinate is buffered. That means it’s been blended with a cheaper form of the mineral, which is not mentioned by name but is most likely magnesium oxide. The magnesium stearate listed under “Other ingredients” is commonly used in the production of capsules and is not a significant source of elemental magnesium. Speaking of which, the label fails to mention the amount of elemental magnesium, which may be only a fraction of the total weight claimed. That is, the 250 milligrams may equate to only 25 to 60 milligrams of elemental magnesium, depending on how heavily it’s buffered.Note that the product does not appear to be NSF certified, so the GMP certification shown in the product picture may be self-declared. Also, an online search shows there is no recognized supplement brand named Aagummm. The bottle label claims they’re located in Dillon, Montana, but I was unable to verify that. I recommend choosing supplements from a reputable brand that lists the elemental weight on the label.

good
I’ve been using this magnesium glycinate supplement as part of my daily routine, and it has been easy to take consistently. The capsules are a comfortable size and don’t have a strong taste or aftertaste. I appreciate the straightforward formula and the convenient 90-day supply, which means I don’t need to reorder frequently. The bottle is easy to store, and the capsules fit smoothly into my existing supplement routine. The packaging is clear and simple, making it easy to keep track of daily use. Overall, it feels like a well-made supplement that is convenient for everyday use and easy to incorporate into a regular wellness routine.

Large capsule size, but easy on the stomach
I haven’t noticed a big difference in sleep or muscle aches, but to be honest that seems to be my body’s typical response to almost any product like this. There are many benefits to magnesium and the fact that I don’t “feel” the difference doesn’t mean it isn’t helpful in other ways. Maybe it will work better for you and the changes will be more apparent. This form of magnesium is highly absorbable and easy on the stomach. I experienced no upset (or sudden bathroom needs) while taking this. It’s well packaged in a child safe bottle that isn’t also ridiculous for adults – I could open the bottle without frustration. The capsules are fairly large, but I found them easy to swallow. If you struggle with pills the size might be an issue for you.

45-90 day supply. Quality+ sleep, muscles & mental calm is noticable. Buffered, no side effects 4 me
MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE (BUFFERED) 250MG, 90CTThis supplement is working really well for me. I’ve been using Magnesium Glycinate in the evenings as part of my daily regimen (that includes Magnesium L-threonate in the morning) I can definitely feel a difference when I run out or when I’m not taking it. This brand works just as well in comparison to the other brand that I’ve been used to.Serving size says 1 capsule per day and there’s 90 qty in the bottle. When you read the suggested qty, it says 2 capsules per day or as directed by your doctor. So that is a little conflicting to how long this bottle will last you (45-90 days), but it makes me wonder if I should be taking 2 a day now.I sleep better, feel better, and wake up less exhausted.I haven’t noticed any issues with digestion or any other side effects. I would recommend. My experience for context: I ran out of both of my Magnesiums and didn’t get more for about 3 weeks (but continued with my other vitamins/supplements, etc…) I felt a huge difference in my sleeping patterns and my mucles, and I think I was feeling more stressed too. My nights will easily turn into my days when I’m not taking my Magnesiums. I also end up taking more naps because my sleep time hours are disrupted. Its one of the most intrusive situations that wastes my time and conflicts with everything that I need to do. When I take my magnesium regimen daily, its so much easier to keep a regularly scheduled nighly routine of sleep. I fall asleep so much faster, and can sleep through the night alot better. I also wake up less exhausted. Don’t get me wrong, its not a cure all. I still have to force myself to go to bed during normal night hours while I’m wide awake at midnight, but Magnesium Glycinate definitely helps me with my sleep. I try to take it about an hour before sleeping but sometimes I end up taking it right before I sleep. I think its recommended to take it at least ½ hour before sleep.I also deal with neuropathy from a car accident (I’m taking 2 prescriptions for) and muscle stiffness (I’m taking an additional prescription at night for) I had also noticed that when I wasn’t taking the Magnesium, my nerve irritation was amped up a bit. For me, the Magnesium is crucial for more comfort and helping me be less anxious too. I like that its buffered too, which makes it more gentle and less acidic for my body.

Conflicting information
I ordered these magnesium glycinate supplements to help with muscles and sleep. I have not noticed a difference after a week of taking, but I also don’t know what the correct amount is to take. The serving size is 1 capsule. That lines up with the description of it being a 90 day supply since there are 90 capsules. The problem is, the directions say to take 2 capsules daily. That would make it a 45 day supply. While on the topic of directions, you would think more proof reading would be put into it. First with the instruction of taking 2 when the serving size is 1, and then there is the period instead of a comma followed by the rest of the sentence.I have never heard of this brand so I was iffy to take these. Whether I took 1 or 2 I did not notice any side effects…or any effects at all. This is a buffered magnesium so it could be mixed with magnesium oxide. That could cause laxative effects, but again, I haven’t had any issues over the past week. The price seems great! It is a little on the cheap side compared to competitors which makes me nervous of how much of each magnesium form is actually in it. The supplements with 100% glycinate were significantly more expensive.I’m on the fence with this one.

Reasonable product, no filter supplements and short list of inactive ingredients
I don’t know anything about the brand. But what I do like is that this is a single i supplement/ngredient product that doesn’t stuff in other supplements that you didn’t want or ask for, and which has a short list of inactive ingredients. It’s easy to see what’s in it, and because it just has the supplement that it says it does on the bottle, you will not be looking through everything else they put in it to see what other products you already have that duplicate them, and wondering if you can take it without mega/overdosing on something else . So kudos to this manufacturer for that. I’m so tired of trying to find a supplement, and then seeing that the manufacturer stuffed in yet more vitamin D or B or an unexpected plant product. The price on this was reasonable. You get 90 full sized capsules, which is a full 90 day supply if you follow the manufacturers recommended dosage. You only have to take one capsule and not two like most supplements, which is a plus. And the price was reasonable. There are several different types of magnesium available, and you should check that this is the type that you want. But if it is, this send like a reasonable option.

Buffered with Magnesium Oxide and Company Has No Internet Presence
These AAGUMMM Women’s Non-Irritating Magnesium Glycinate Capsules arrived in a plastic bottle with a secure safety seal. The capsules are medium in size with no scent, taste, or aftertaste. The label says the serving size is one capsule, but the directions say to take two daily, so not sure which is correct. At two daily, these 90 capsules will last one and a half months. There is a GMP symbol on the bottle but no other information or certification. There is no indication of third party testing. I did a little research on the ingredients. Hypromellose (cellulose) is used for a plant-derived capsule that is non-toxic, non-allergenic, and suitable for vegetarians/vegans, and is widely used and accepted as a stable alternative to animal-derived gelatin. The magnesium stearate is vegetable-sourced and recognized as safe. Rice powder used as a filler is common in capsules like these. Magnesium glycinate is a highly bioavailable form of magnesium (good for muscle relaxation and sleep), but this is buffered, or mixed with magnesium oxide (a cheaper form that allows more magnesium to fit in the pill). While “pure” glycinate is more absorbable, the buffered version is not nearly as effective. There is no information about the AAGUMMM company on the internet, which causes some concern for me. I’m not sure if I will continue taking these. The price is way less than the average price of a 45-day supply of magnesium glycinate, which may indicate a low amount of magnesium glycinate. Choose wisely.
