OK I have heard of grapeseed OIL but not an extract as a supplement so when I saw this I was extremely interested as it seems to have benefits out the wazoo! Like I mean literally it has health benefits for almost every single system in your body.It’s a little nuts as it seems like it is a cure all BUT I take everything that i read online with a HUGE grain of salt. lolWill it do everything that it promises? I don’t know as only continued use and time will tell. What I can tell you is that it arrived sealed so that I could tell that it had not been tampered with which is the first thing that I generally look for in things like this as I need to know that it is safe if I am going to ingest it.I also appreciate that it is made in the US and is made in a FDA registered facility as well as being GMP certified. It came in capsule form so that it was easy to swallow and left no aftertaste in my mouth.BUT please remember that everyone’s body chemistry is different and what works for me might not work for you and vice versa.

A skin protocol I am doing calls for grape seed extract. Up until now, I did not realize all the health benefits of grape seed extract like liver, kidney, and brain support, reducing oxidative stress, helping with circulation, and skin health.This particular brand only has 200 mg of the extract as compared with much higher mgs of some other brands but I think that might be best to start out since everyone’s body can react differently to new supplements.Since it can take weeks or even months to see results with new products, I can only report that this company, Wellness Resources, has been in business for decades. The capsules are average sized and not strong tasting with an expiration date in 2025.

I INVESTIGATE AND REWARD PURITY, DOCUMENTATION, AND CONTACT INFO FOR SUPPLEMENTS

** I look for manufacturer certification, testing, distributor and website accountability, place of manufacture, sourcing, dosage, listing accuracy, return policy, tamper evident packaging and expiration date. I check accuracy of nutrition claims and supplement facts and, when available, share my knowledge of usefulness, potential drug interactions, and precautions. My reviews mention any shortcomings I discover. I reserve my highest ratings for products that positively satisfy all these criteria and reduce that rating fairly for those that do not. I can not recommend this reactive supplement.I will provide any known benefits and side-effects I experience from each supplement I take personally; however, effects are often unapparent for many months – if at all. fyi: I take Grape seed extract and Grape seed oil…they have different properties and uses.This supplement> Grape Seed Extract. It is rich in polyphenols and have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.vs Grape seed oil which is composed of fatty acids, have culinary uses, moisturizing properties and heart-healthy benefits.This product was sent with a short shelf life/expiration date, 6 months from time of my order.I was a bit surprised. I typically expect my supplements to have a 1 year expiration date. It’s not the end of the world as I keep certain/many of my supplements in the fridge to help maintain their freshness, especially since I don’t take many of them every single day.** Their website is full of information for a promising quality brand! **Standardized nutrients with active compounds listed on labelNo “proprietary formulas” with hidden nutrient amountsNo hidden ingredientsEvery batch is tested to ensure label accuracyEvery lot tested for product quality, purity, potencyThird party testing to verify you are getting exactly what’s on the labelTested for contaminants such as heavy metals and microbesFDA registered labsNote: I want the seller’s Amazon product description, photos and marketing section, the company website product details & the product bottle label… all four of these to match up.I’m not seeing that with this product. >> Keep in mind, if you ever have questions, you can simply contact the company! Their bottle label and their website does include all the proper information to reach out.This product does not have any seals/stamps on the bottle. The Amazon description photo shows a generic GMP seal. The “About this item” seller’s text description doesn’t specify any GMP information.> I want to see GMP CERTIFIED in the description and in the marketing details VS like so many other brands that put a generic GMP seal on the bottle that states “Good Manufacturing Practices” or “Made in a GMP facility” ….which means nothing to me, if they haven’t passed certification.I also want to see Third Party Lab Tested for purity seal. This product states it is on their website, in the Amazon text description & marketing description, yet a generic “purity batch tested” seal is in the seller’s photo. Nothing is on the bottle. >> Again, the good news is their website & bottle does include thorough contact information if I wanted to question and acquire further verification. (I just prefer it to be done for me, all synced up! No wondering!)> Why would I feel the need to reach out? I want to be able to access both the GMP certification and the lab certificate of analysis before I take these regularly.** At the end of the day, I think this company is on the right track with a wide variety of promising products and great standards/intentions! I would applaud syncing up & clarifying the details I mentioned above. **fyi: There are loads of brands on the market that are purchased from a large scale, well known international company that sell for manufacturers, some with excellent certifications, some not so much. Anyone can buy their pre-made supplements (or ingredients for assembly) and start their own Private Label company with their own brand name & labels printed. I’ve ordered some unknown brand names that were of excellent quality, then some that I later after digging further, discovered the product didn’t meet their claims.
