I’ve taken several Wellah drink supplements and have been happy with all of them, but this is my first regular supplement by them, and as far as I can tell, it’s also a good option, though maybe not for everyone. I like that there is a fair amount of iron (65mg) but when I ordered it I thought I would be getting just iron bisglycinate, and when I received it I realized that there is ferrous fumarate as well. The actual amount of ferrous fumarate vs. iron bisglycinate isn’t listed, but the ferrous fumarate is listed second to the iron bisglycinate, so hopefully that means that there is still more iron bisglycinate, as the ferrous fumarate isn’t as readily absorbed and can also cause more digestive upset in some people. I’m also not a big fan of the fact that they added in folic acid, as not everyone can absorb it unless it is the methylated version, but at least the B12 is methylated.The capsules are easy to take and there’s no detectable taste when swallowing them, nor any odor when opening the bottle. I’ve taken the capsules with food, and also with very little food, and with either of those combinations I didn’t have any stomach discomfort or digestive issues, so that’s always a win in my book, though I have yet to risk taking them on an empty stomach because it’s not worth the risk of a belly ache to me.For 180 capsules and one capsule per serving, the price for this iron is pretty amazing, though I cannot say how effective they are until I get my blood work done in a few months, and obviously any money spent on something that’s ineffective is too much. I plan to continue taking them until the bottle runs out, but if I find that I still need to continue taking iron after my next blood work appointment, I’ll probably switch to something that is only iron bisglycinate and doesn’t contain the non-methylated version of folate.

For supplement products, due to the fact that they are so unregulated in the US, I always like to check for a few things like is there any information about where it was manufactured, any information about 3rd party testing and how many capsules, scoops or servings per recommended daily dose to translate to a total number of doses instead of just overall count.This product is made in the US and states that it is 3rd party tested, Manufactured in an NSF Certified, GMP Compliant, FDA Registered Facility. Unfortunately there isn’t much additional information about 3rd party testing in a detailed certificate of analysis for quantities of the stated ingredients at this time which is pretty common. Some companies occasionally post it but it is unfortunately rare for most of them.They do at least have a good functional website and are a relatively known brand catering a bit towards women’s health and supplementation products.The product recommended serving size is 1 capsules which gives 180 doses with vitamin C, folate, B12, and iron 65mg (361%). The iron dose seems a touch high and so I have actually read it might be better to take every other day at this high dose.That said, they are easy to take and I didn’t notice any unpleasant reactions or side effects so far. It is hard to say if I can tell any specific positive benefits at this time having taken it for a while but these effects can be difficult for me to notice.The price is pretty reasonable and good value.

Just the right amount of iron in this for me and the additional vitamins are a nice touch and makes it rather comprehensive. There’s more vitamin C and folate in separate supplements I take but it’s nice to see a little more in here in case I forget and as far as I understand, it all helps the iron absorb wellNo digestive upset at all, effortless to use, I believe this supplement is effective in the sense that I haven’t gotten sick at all and experienced no ill effects. I also don’t notice a taste at all – which I understand can happen with someI’d get these again for sure. I think 180 capsules at this cost is great value!10/10

Misleading label
Misleading label. The front of the label says folate but it’s synthetic folic acid. When I reached out to their customer service to clarify they responded to my first message, then tried to tell me synthetic folic acid and folate are the same thing… It’s not, not everyone absorbs the synthetic version. When I told them the label was misleading, they stopped responding. I will not purchase this brand any more.
