My main reason for taking a magnesium supplement is that I’m being treated for osteoporosis. But I find magnesium supplementation confusing. There are many different forms of magnesium and each is said to have different potential benefits. (Alexa can fill you in.) So which to choose? This product makes it easier since it contains so many different forms. (Notably, magnesium L-threonate is not included here.) Here’s Google’s reply when I asked which form of magnesium is best for osteoporosis: “Research indicates that magnesium citrate has the most direct clinical evidence for improving bone mineral density and reducing fracture risk. However, many experts recommend a blend of magnesium glycinate, citrate, and ascorbate to comprehensively support bone health by covering absorption, pH balance, and collagen formation.” Alexa also wanted to tell me “The 105 mg of elemental magnesium in this supplement is a modest dose; the recommended daily intake for adults over 70 is 420 mg (men) or 320 mg (women), so dietary sources and other supplements matter too.” (Yes, Alexa knows my age. I’m 71.)I take magnesium before bed, and I am convinced that it helps with sleep. These moderate-size capsules are about ¾ inch long and easily swallowed. At one capsule daily, this is a 4 month supply. Here’s a few things to be aware of. (1) The product is distributed by a Colorado Springs, Colorado company but the box doesn’t tell us where this is manufactured. (2) We’re told that it’s “quality tested,” which is good, but I’m not certain what that means. Alexa wasn’t quite sure either: “…”quality tested” refers to the company’s statement that the ingredients have been tested. However, the product page doesn’t specify exactly what type of testing was performed (e.g., purity testing, potency verification, third-party lab certification).” I do like to see the words “third party verified” on supplement products because the supplement market in the USA is not regulated. My box shows a manufacturing date in July 2026 and an expiration date 3 years later.

12 in 1 complex effective, good buy, No digestive issues, falling asleep good, but earlier awakening
I had bought another brand of magnesium blend with amino acid complex and black pepper extract. It said serving was 2 caps, each 150mg of elemental magnesium, with black pepper extract. That brand caused me to have bad heartuburn and it disrupted my sleeping cycle. This 12 in 1 complex initially caused some sleep problems when taken in the evening. I moved the pill taking time to early afternoon, and I fell asleep with no problems but woke up earlier than normal, though having more mental energy. I had no problems with heartburn or falling asleep and after a couple of days, I slept longer and deeper and woke up earlier This was about half the price of the other brand, used a smaller dosage of 105mg of elemental magnesium which is an appropriate amount for someone with an average dietary magnesium. (the recommended levels of total elemental magnesium is 300-400mg and your diet usually provides 250 or so mg. I recommend this 12 in 1 comploex–it is a much better buy, it did not produce acid reflux/heartburn, and did not cause a bad disruption of my sleep patterns.

I’ve cycled through a bunch of magnesium supplements over the years, and this one just *works* in a way the others never quite did. The capsule itself is a reasonable size, goes down smooth with a glass of water, and I honestly don’t think about it once it’s in. The quality feels solid and straightforward—no funky fillers, nothing that makes me second-guess what I’m putting in my body. And here’s the thing I really love: it’s just one capsule for the full serving. So many of these multi-magnesium blends make you swallow two or three pills a day, and I’m always forgetting one by the time I get to bed. One pill with dinner, done, end of thought.What also genuinely sold me is the math on it. You get 120 capsules, one a day, so that’s a four-month supply for under eight dollars. First of all you get a very generous 120 day supply at a (currently) great price. The capsules are “medium size” and easy to swallow. I’ve been taking a standard brand of magnesium for years, but lately it felt like it stopped working. . I stumbled across this Magnesium Complex and thought I’d give it a shot, even though I doubted all the big claims. Well, today is Saturday, a day I usually feel like an absolute wet dishrag with terrible brain fog—and after taking my first dose, I felt completely clear-headed and had actual energy at the end of the day/. On top of that, I’ve dealt with an abnormal heart rhythm for decades (which is why I take magnesium), and it beat normally all day. Maybe my body was primed for it since I’ve taken magnesium for years, but the difference was very quick. . I’m seriously impressed and looking forward to seeing how I feel after a few weeks!

There are many things to like about this supplement. I like that it is a 120 capsule container with taking 1 supplement a day this will last you 4 months. I also like that there are 12 in 1 complex magnesiums that are included. I know sometimes certain things don’t work for certain people and I feel like this one has the best chance. There are so many magnesium possibilities to get into your system and work efficiently and effectively. I also like that this is distributed from Colorado Springs, Colorado. it is gluten-free, quality tested, And GMP certified. a lot to like in this dietary supplement.

Transparent Blend, But Too Many Unknowns.
Received this magnesium through the Amazon Vine program, but after turning the bottle around in every direction, I still couldn’t find exact information on the amount of each individual type of magnesium. The manufacturer only listed the total mass of the blend—700 mg of Magnesium Complex—and 105 mg of total elemental magnesium.However, there is no breakdown or precise ratio for all 12 forms crammed into a single capsule. This 12-in-1 mix sounds very loud and impressive, but what is actually inside remains a guessing game. It is completely unclear what the dosage is for more expensive and effective forms like glycinate or malate, versus poorly absorbed forms like magnesium oxide, which frequently triggers a laxative effect.One capsule contains only 105 mg of pure magnesium, which is a mere 25% of the daily value. To make this supplement actually work, you’d need to take 3 to 4 capsules a day, which isn’t very comfortable and causes the bottle to run out in no time. On top of that, there is no mention of verified independent lab certifications like USP or NSF.Overall, I think I’ll pass and won’t be taking this magnesium. Your health is worth more, and when a supplement feels this much like a pig in a poke, I’d rather not experiment. I’ll look for trusted options with transparent labeling for every single component instead.

This supplement works ok, but I’m not taking two daily.
This is a budget friendly supplement, that I think works for me. I’m not impressed that dosage says take two capsules daily and I’ve only been taking one. That seems to be enough for me personally. These capsules are easy to take and don’t have any noticeable side effects for me. That being said when being told take two, I feel like the product is diluted to make a little more for less. I’m rating this supplement three stars as it works but could be better. Thank you! -Mike

Broad magnesium complex to fill dietary gaps.
This is a broad spectrum magnesium complex supplement containing 12 types of magnesium. The total elemental magnesium is 105mg or roughly 25% of the daily value. There is a total of 700mg of the various types of magnesium that can fill in gaps in an average diet. While I eat a rather healthy diet, this supplement can top off any nutrient deficiency that may sometimes occur. Usually I take a specific type of magnesium like glycinate for stress and sleep or malate for muscle aches or energy. I think this product is better for general nutrition due to each type of magnesium being too low for a therapeutic dosage. I appreciate that there are no filler ingredients, and that I only need one capsule a day. These are best taken with a meal to avoid stomach upset. The expiration date is 7/29. Recommended.
