3 a day seems a bit much
Writing reviews for supplements and things like gummies is not easy, mainly because the effects / benefits one receives when taking them is often subtle and spread out over time. These are not doctor prescribed medications so they don’t have more obvious / immediate results. You can take a narcotic that a doc gives you or some natural supplement that helps with pain management, but the differences are going to be stark. Supplements are generally a way to avoid taking those sometimes harsher, caustic and potentially habit-forming medications a professional might prescribe – or at least that’s how I view them. But you can’t pop a couple pills of broccoli extract (or whatever) and expect to be wowed by the results. You might even take a supplement or chew a gummy for an entire month and never really see or feel the benefit. It doesn’t mean there’s nothing good going on, it just means the effects are more subtle and subdued. Things that work so well you can quickly see results we aren’t allowed access to, so we have to utilize products like this one, that may or may not actually be doing anything except making our urine a little darker after our body processes it. I’m not saying one way or another if I think this supplement did anything for me, because I honestly don’t know. I take the suggested amount on a daily basis, almost without fail, and I do so with fingers crossed that SOMETHING good is happening as a result.It’s also worth noting that I was not around when this product was made, packaged, etc so I can’t possibly know, or speak about, the quality of it. They can make claims about purity and so on but there’s no way I could possibly know or verify the truth to any of their claims. Believe it if you want, that’s entirely up to you. So what could I possibly put in this review, if that’s my attitude? Well I can say things like how easy they are to swallow, or do a price breakdown but that’s pretty much it. So here goes:These are very easy to swallow, and since I do so with water already in my mouth I cannot speak to how they might taste.As for price and value go, the breakdown is something like this: each bottle contains 240 softgels but the suggested dosage is 3 a day, so that means you’re getting enough for almost 3 months for the price of nearly $30 so basically you’re paying $10 a month to take these. I’m going to go out on a limb and say you could probably get equal benefit by taking 2 a day…

Better than Expected!
I have been taking this omega 3, 6 and 9 softgels daily and I am honestly really happy with them. I have used Vitamin World products before so I was excited to find such a great selection available on Amazon, it made it so much easier to get back to a brand I already trust.I take three softgels together with my lunch since it is my meal with the most fat to improve consistency and absorption.The softgels are definitely on the bigger side but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to swallow and they digest really well without upsetting my stomach. What really stood out to me is how much they have helped with my dry eyes, I noticed a difference I honestly wasn’t expecting. Making sure I take them with a meal that contains fat seems to make a difference with my digestion too because I feel great using them. Even my doctor is happy with how things are going, which gives me even more confidence in continuing them long term.

No fishy taste at all. Pills are a little large but not too bad
These seem to be a very good way of getting your Omega 3s, 6s, and 9s all in a single dose. A single dose of 3 pills, but still. From what I can tell the ingredients are good quality and I haven’t had any unpleasant side effects, not even a fishy burp. Instead they have a regular “vitamin” taste. There also no bad smell coming from the capsules or bottle, fishy or otherwise. This makes me think they’ve done a good job purifying the oils, but that’s just a guess.They’re a bit large, but not the biggest I’ve seen. They were still easy to take together and I didn’t have any trouble swallowing them, they went down easily. If they were any bigger I might have to take them separately.The bottle is much bigger than I expected, but that’s because the pills are bigger than I expected. You’re supposed to take 3 once a day, and with 240 in the bottle that covers 80 days. I’d say the price is very reasonable for that timespan, especially since you’re getting all the Omegas in there. It was sealed nicely, both around the cap and under.The one thing I think could be better is that this gives you enough for 80 days, which means it’s not quite 3 months. Why not just include enough for 3 months? Most of the supplements I take come in amounts that cover 1, 2, 3, or up to 6 months supply. It seems weird to include an amount close to 3 full months, but not quite. I also wish they could put it all in 1-2 capsules, maybe a little smaller, but I never understand why some supplements seem to be so much bigger than others offering the same nutrients, or require more pills than others. I’m guessing it comes down to fillers but who knows.Aside from those little issues, which have nothing to do with effectiveness, I’m very happy with these. I feel good knowing I’m getting all the Omegas and don’t have to worry about fishy breath or the taste sneaking up on me.

Excellent fish oil from a reputable company
These are large oil capsules that some people might find hard to swallow. I have no trouble swallowing pills so it’s not a big deal to me. They do suggest three per dose, which makes it that much more difficult, but I take less and will only take one a day. That means this huge bottle will last me for 240 days.I had absolutely no issue with them as far as discomfort, taste, or fishy burps or even plant burps for that matter.The bottle came double safety sealed and is brown in color. Vitamin World has been around for a long time, being founded in 1977, and is a reputable company. I feel perfectly comfortable using their products.
