Great tasting and no bad side effects
I work out several times a week and wake up at 5am to get ready for the gym. I usually have some caffeine from coffee or pre-workout mix before leaving for the gym to help wake up but sometimes if I am in the hurry I don’t have time. These little energy shots are great for grab and go and allow you to get some B vitamins and caffeine in an easy to drink and tasty shot. The are very convenient since they don’t require mixing and you can keep a few extra bottles in your car or gym bag for those times when you need a little energy boost. So far I’ve used them a few times and did not notice any bad or ill side effects. The individual bottles are very convenient and great for taking with you but the drinks cost more per serving that purchasing a container of powder pre-workout mix with similar ingredients and mixing yourself. These also taste really good with no unpleasant or offensive aftertaste so the higher cost per serving is associated with the convenience of the individual packaging.

Surprisingly Subtle Boost
These look and taste like other brands of energy “shots” commonly sold at gas stations and convenient markets. A familiar Red Bull taste hits your tongue, with the masking flavor of “blue raspberry” changing very little. (It also didn’t alter my disbelief in the existence of this biologically improbable fruit.)The effect was real, but not overwhelming at all. I only occasionally boost my morning one cup of coffee intake with an afternoon coffee, so my tolerance is very low for stimulants. I was afraid this would have me snapping pencils in two, but all I’ve noticed is that my nearly unavoidable afternoon crash naps can now be skipped without even noticing. That’s after one of these, so if you’re a hardcore speedfreak, you might find yourself needing to down two or more. 260 mg of caffeine per shot along with green tea extract and whatever else is providing a boost are in there, so you be the judge.Perhaps another reviewer can shed some light on the claims of being vitamin rich, gut health friendly, and metabolism raising. At a little over $2 a bottle when bought here in bulk, these are likely a good way to get your boost.

Really Good Energy Shots!
These Vitamin Energy Extra Strength Shots are a great alternative to traditional energy drinks or coffee, as they provide a very clean and sustained energy boost without sugar or carbs. Well done! Each bottle (a little under 2 oz) is packed with natural nutrients and vitamins designed to support both energy levels and immune health, making it more than just a typical caffeine adder. Generally, I don’t find these caffeine shots to taste all that great. However, the blue raspberry flavor is surprisingly tolerable, and didn’t have too overpowering of an artificial taste that some energy drinks have. I found that the energy boost kicked in fairly quickly and lasted a solid seven hours or more, keeping me focused and alert without the jittery crash I’ve experienced with other products.The fact that these contain immune-supporting ingredients is an added bonus. If you’re looking for a quick jolt, these energy shots are worth a try.

It is definitely an energy drink.
I have never before consumed any kind of energy drink. Lately, however, when I am out doing errands, I find myself very tired out when I get home. So yesterday, I decided to try out one of the Vitamin Energy Extra Strength Energy Drink Shots at 2:30 in the afternoon, before I left home. It tasted pretty good, with a tart blue raspberry flavor.I made sure to notice how I felt when I got home a few hours later. I had no fatigue, and I was still going strong at 11:00 pm. The down side was that I think it prevented me from going to sleep at midnight, because I was still lying in bed awake until 3:30 am. My mind was relaxed during that time—not busy thinking about everything under the sun—but I couldn’t drift off to sleep. I know that I am one of those people that can’t drink coffee after 3:30 in the afternoon, or I will not be able to sleep that night. But apparently, this energy drink has the same effect on me. This is good news for those who want an energy drink to keep them awake and alert for hours and hours. As for me, it will be best for me to drink it in the morning before taking a road trip, to keep from getting drowsy while driving.

No Extra Energy Here
I was expecting an extra burst of energy by using this product and that was not my experience.The blue raspberry flavor I liked. I also like that these are sugar-free as I am trying to decrease my sugar consumption. I drank it straight from the bottle. Where they did not give me energy, I felt that they possibly helped maintain a level of energy and did not give any “caffeine jitters” as coffee or other drinks that help energy could. I drank them at different times of the day, even after noon one day and had no issues with sleep.These are sealed well so there is no problem of leakage and I had no thoughts about contamination.

Pretty great for less than USD$2 per bottle!This is great for addressing ADHD issues with the solid level of caffeine that somehow does last a solid 6-8 hours, beyond what a large latte would do for me.The taste? Ergh. I hate fake sugar taste. Luckily I can chug this and be done with it. It doesn’t taste great unless you are used to diet soda or fake sugar and like that taste. I tolerate it for the benefit of not having calories.The functionality of the rest of the additives is questionable. I don’t feel a lot different, but maybe I’m getting a benefit I don’t notice. It is easy to drink / chug, especially if you don’t like the taste.There is a lot of caffeine in there, 3+ times a cup of coffee — 260mg!! Make sure your caffeine tolerance is good.I don’t feel anything as this wears off, which is nice too!
