I don’t understand why supplement companies don’t make it immediately clear the country of origin of their products. I had to go do some research but according to the Vitamatic website their products are “developed and crafted” in the USA.They contain a commonly known probiotic as well as the specific strain of probiotic bacteria known to be effective in balancing vaginal Flora after it gets wiped out from antibiotics. With a prebiotic and a probiotic specific to that particular bacteria, you should be able to recover quickly. But there still are a few issues with this product.Vitamatic supplements may not have the same level of third-party testing and transparency as some international brands. Many international brands often emphasize rigorous quality assurance and ingredient sourcing. This one does not.According to my research, even if you discover that an ingredient is from China (as many are) suppliers often sell more than one version of an ingredient. Each version will be different in quality and cost. The company making the final product decides which grade of ingredient they use, and that decision is usually based on product cost. Not always, but the only way that you can know for sure is if they make this information freely available. I believe you would have to actually contact the company since they do not provide any information about third party testing on their website.I only knocked off one star for lack of transparency because at least they are made here in the USA which is apparently a rarity for most of the stuff sold on amazon. By being processed and formulated right here on us soil you know that they do have at least a level of regular inspection by regulatory agencies. You don’t get that with chinese-made products.

Really Like This Probiotic Formula
I’ve been very happy with this probiotic. What initially caught my attention was that it uses Lactobacillus crispatus specifically rather than just being another generic multi-strain probiotic. I also really like that it combines the probiotic with XOS prebiotic, so you’re getting both in one capsule.The 10 billion CFU per capsule is a nice potency, and the delayed-release design is another feature I appreciate. I have absolutely loved taking these probiotics. They have helped my digestive so much. I usually have some moments during the day where my stomach feels a little off and this has really helped balance things out and is very effective. The ingredients are clean and I don’t notice or mind the taste at all. The price is great for a 60 day supply and these are easy to just take one pill a day. I have to confess that I don’t like to take supplements, and the few that I take I have spent hours investigating them, from ingredients to plant (place of manufacture) to brand/seller.A direct relative who started taking probiotics swears by them and attributes a better ‘stomach’ to their starting a regular probiotic regime.I checked quite few and this particular Vitamatic 10 billion matched the recommendation of slow release and a minimum of 10 billion since I don’t suffer from real ‘stomach’ issues.After taking it for a few weeks, I’m happy to report that I didn’t encounter any adverse stomach/digestive issues and on the contrary, that side seems to be under better regulation. As for the ingredients – non-GMO and the rest matches all the requirements for a probiotic I found on scientific sites online.

This strain of probiotic is known for helping maintain a healthy female vag microbiome. It is known to help with yeast infections (Candida Albicans) and also even BV – bacterial vaginosis. The convenient thing is the product does not have to be refrigerated. Also, it is enteric coated so it will be protected from stomach acid, and not open up until it is in the small intestine – excellent! This should make it more effective of a product. The only side effect potential I can see is the Prebiotic that is included in the capsule, as those are known to possibly cause a ‘gas’ issue for some individuals. I understand why it is included, as it is there as ‘food’ for the probiotic, as you want the probiotic to hang around and colonize, and this is to help them establish themselves. This company, in my opinion, has shown themselves being held to a higher standard. This is a good probiotic for Women!

This review is for the Vitamatic Lactobacillus Crispatus, 10 billion CFUThis form of lactobacillus was something I was unfamiliar with and had to do my homework to investigate the Crispatus strain.Finding that this strain is key to a healthy, vaginal micro biome, in supporting a balanced overall feminine wellness, made me more comfortable in using it.Often the results of taking antibiotics, leads to some undesirable after effects. This strain can help in repopulating the microbiome in the female vaginal area.The delayed-release capsules are small and easy to swallow, and because they are delayed release the capsule protects the probiotic as it moves through the stomach so that the live cultures reach the lower intestinal track, released where it works most effectively.This is a formula that I will certainly use following the use of antibiotics. It is good to know that Vitamatic provides this single strain that addresses this particular need for women.
