Formulation is mostly clear on the bottle so you know mostly what you’re getting.
I’m a regular saw palmetto and pumpkin seed oil user and when I saw this blend, I decided to try it. The challenge with this blend is while the saw palmetto quantity is clear, the pumpkin seed content is not. The label states how much extract there is per dose, but not the extract ratio, so there’s no way to compare the strength of the pumpkin extract with other extracts or oils. I have been taking this supplement for about a week, and it seems to be giving me the same results as my “regular” saw palmetto blend. I like that there are no artificial ingredients (magnesium stearate is almost always sourced from natural materials). And, no noticeable side effects or upset stomach. There is no odor or aftertaste either. I’m not concerned with the biotin, but it’s a nice bonus.The capsules are easy to take and you get a 30-day supply at the recommended dosage. The product is at the “premium” end of similar products, but the formulation is pretty transparent and there is a biotin component, so you are paying for a known quantity of the supplements. I know that it takes time for any change in the effectiveness of this kind of supplement to manifest, but I’m encouraged after my initial experience. The product states that it’s lab tested, but no test results are available in the advertising or on the manufacturer’s website, so if that analysis is important to you, then you will have to write to the manufacturer and request the analysis. I did not.If my experience stays the same, this is a viable alternative for my regular saw palmetto product. I’m not going to risk using this to replace my pumpkin seed oil supplement, but if you don’t take pumpkin seed oil at all, this is probably better than nothing.

I have been buying Saw Palmetto for my dad for the last 2 years after he has prostate cancer. My dad also for years has to go to the bathroom multiple times a night, however since he start to take Saw Palmetto supplements he did did so less often. I got the Vitalitown Saw Palmetto for him to try and found this to be just as affective as the store bought brands. My dad’s doctor suggested 320mg a dose or so a day but higher mg doses should be fine. So we usually get ones that 450mg or so. So with the Vitalitown brand he take just one pill a day instead the 2 listed on the bottle. His sleep quality have been great because of the effectiveness of the product as he has to get up even less often at night. The pill is a bit large so its a bit challenge to swallow but there is no side effects of taking this supplements.
