Some things look nicer than they are. This is one of those things. This is primarily a saw palmetto supplement. Saw palmetto berries have been long used for male health benefits. Containing phytosterols, like beta sitosterol, many men take saw palmetto supplements, for prostate health support. Stinging nettles and pumpkin seed extract, also included, are often used for their urinary and prostate health benefit.This supplement contains a saw palmetto proprietary blend,of 600 mg. per 2 capsules. The blend includes saw palmetto powder (fruit) and saw palmetto 10:1 (fruit) extract, standardized to 45% fatty acids. Listed in that order, it contains, at minimum 50%, and any amount above that, of saw palmetto powder. And, at most 50%, which can mean any amount less than that, of the standardized extract. Better saw palmetto standardized extract supplements, often contain 320 mg. of saw palmetto extract per daily serving, standardized for 85% fatty acids. The 2 capsule daily serving of this supplement contains anywhere from 1-300 mg. of saw palmetto extract, standardized for 45% fatty acids.It also contains stinging nettle leaf powder. Stinging nettle root, not the leaf, appears to be beneficial for urinary/prostate health purposes. And, in any case, a serving of this supplement contains 400 mg. of the powder, not an extract. The stinging nettle root supplement I use, is a 20:1 extract. Concentrating the stinging nettle’s beneficial compounds by 20X. There’s also 160 mg. of pumpkin seed extract, providing some of the benefits of pumpkin seeds, also often used to support prostate health.There are 120 servings of 2 capsules each. It’s lab tested and made in a GMP certified facility. While this appears good, I don’t know how good it is. Containing a blend of half, at minimum, of just powdered saw palmetto berries. And, not more than 50%, maybe a lot less, of extract, standardized for 45% fatty acids. Not the better 85% fatty acid standardization. With the stinging nettle, being just 400 mg. of powder, and from the leaf, not the root. The one thing I can depend on for prostate health, is that I get 160 mg. of pumpkin seed extract. That’s it.

Great Saw Palmetto option
I’ve been taking this prostate support supplement for about two months now, and I’m noticing some real improvements in how I’m feeling. Getting up multiple times during the night used to be a big problem for me, but I’ve definitely noticed fewer bathroom trips, so I’m sleeping better and feeling more rested in the morning. The combination of saw palmetto, stinging nettle, and pumpkin seed feels like it’s really working together to support my urinary health and bladder function. I appreciate that it only takes two capsules a day instead of having to swallow a bunch of pills, which makes it easy to stick with my routine. Bathroom trips are down, hairline verdict still pending
I started taking these after one too many 2am trips to the bathroom. Two capsules with breakfast, right next to my coffee, so at least I don’t forget them most mornings. I have missed a few days here and there when I travel and don’t pack the bottle, which probably skews my results a little.The nighttime bathroom thing is the part I actually noticed. It’s not perfect, but I’m getting through most nights without waking up now, which is more than I expected from a supplement. The hair growth and DHT blocker claims are a different story. I haven’t seen any dramatic difference in my hairline, but three months in isn’t exactly a huge sample size for something like hair, so I’m not writing it off yet.Capsules are a normal size, no weird smell or aftertaste, easy enough to swallow. No stomach issues either, which I was half expecting given some of the reviews I’ve read on other prostate supplements.I’ll probably keep buying this one for the urinary side of things alone. The hair support is a bonus I’m not counting on, but I wouldn’t mind being wrong about that.

This Saw Palmetto supplement for men contains 600 mg of a proprietary blend. It also includes pumpkin extract and stinging nettles powder. I’m not sure what they mean by a ‘proprietary blend’ of Saw Palmetto but at 600 mg this is a smaller dosage than other similar products. This bottle represents only a 60 day supply while competing brands at the same price offer 2 to 3 times more days of coverage so this is not necessarily a good value. What makes this brand stand apart is the addition of the pumpkin extract and the stinging nettle powder so if you are looking for these additional ingredients this may be just what you’re looking for. These are capsules and are easy to take. It is suggested to take 2 capsules with a meal for the best results. Overall unless you are interested in the additional ingredients these capsules offer there are better priced options available.
