Goes Down Easy!
I ordered these because the huge salmon oil capsule supplements were getting harder and harder to choke down. These 2 little Vitalitown krill oil capsules are so easy to swallow. I love that they also contain Astaxanthin for an immune system boost.They have no fishy smell when opening the bottles. Two capsules are easy to take. You get a whole months supply for a very reasonable price. I don’t get any fish burps after taking them. I’ll be watching for these Vitalitown krill oil supplements to get the Subscribe and Save option, because I’ll sign up. Reasonable price and an excellent product make this a great value!

Krill oil has become one of my favorite ways to get my EPA, DHA, and Omega 3 fatty acids. I eat a lot of fish but sometimes I take a break and eat other protein sources and that is when I reach for these. They fill in when I want to be sure I am getting my Omega 3 fatty acids. Likely safer than fish oil and is lab tested and non GMO, along with being made in the USA in a GMP facility I feel good about taking these. They also have a pretty good website with a lot of other products so you know they are in the business so to speak. Recommended.

🦐 Easy to Take With No Fishy Taste or Odor 💙
These krill oil softgels have been very easy for me to take. I don’t notice any odor when I open the bottle, there is no taste while swallowing them, and I haven’t experienced a fishy aftertaste afterward. Those are the things I especially wanted to know before trying a krill oil supplement.The bottle contains 60 softgels, and the serving size is two softgels. That gives you 30 servings, so if you take one serving a day, this is essentially a one-month supply.The formula provides 1000 mg of Antarctic krill oil per serving along with EPA, DHA, phospholipids and naturally occurring astaxanthin. I also like that the listing states the product is third-party tested for purity and potency.The softgels go down easily for me and haven’t been difficult to work into my daily routine. I can’t judge long-term benefits from taking a supplement like this, so I am basing my review on what I can actually evaluate: the packaging, ease of taking them, and the complete lack of unpleasant taste or odor.For those things, I have been very pleased.

High quality, 3rd party lab tested, small, easy to swallow soft gels, but NOT as potent as others.
Vitalitown is an American company dedicated to natural health supplements, pure ingredients, the best nutrition, latest research and most advanced technology, all of which is excellent in my opinion. These Krill Oega-3 soft gels are “designed for optimal absorption and gentle digestion, ensuring you get the most from every dose,” according to the ad. I do believe they are using natural high quality ingredients and I really appreciate that they have a 3rd party lab testing for purity. I also think its great that this product is non-GMO, and has no gluten, dairy, soy, egg, fish, tree nuts, or peanuts.The soft gels are just under 5/8″ long, very smooth and easy to swallow. There was no fishy taste or aftertaste or burps. The bottle does have a slight fishy odor. The reason I give it a 4 star rating is because the price is quite high and the dosages are less than the I would have guessed. The American Heart Association recommendation is a combined 250-500mg of EPA and DHA daily for the omega-3s. However, this brand only has a combination of EPA and DHA of 170mg. They do list another omega-3 fatty acids additionally as 200mg but don’t mention what that source is.Also the ad and bottle tout astaxanthin as an important ingredient. I agree, astaxanthin is a very beneficial antioxidant that protects cells from free radicals and oxidative stress. It’s referred to the “race horse vitamin” in Europe. Many astaxanthin supplements provide 4-12mg per day. The USDA Food and Drug has approved doses up to 12mg or milligrams. This product lists the astaxanthin as 200mcg which is micrograms. That equals only .2mg! Hardly worth mentioning. I think for the more expensive price this product commands, it should deliver more of the listed supplements.

Easy to swallow, zero fish burps
If you hate taking standard fish oil “horse pills,” these are so much easier to get down. The softgels are way smaller, smooth, and have that deep ruby-red color from the astaxanthin.A few quick takeaways from using them:No Gross Burps: Took them with meals and had zero fishy repeats or weird aftertaste throughout the day.Easy to Take: Two a day is the full serving (1000mg krill oil), and because of the size, they go down easily without feeling like they get stuck.Fresh Bottle: The seal was completely intact, and opening the bottle didn’t hit me with any strong, rancid fish smell.The Formula: Basic, clean ingredients (gelatin, glycerin, water) alongside the standard krill benefits (phospholipids and astaxanthin). Just keep in mind it does contain shellfish if you have allergies.Overall, a solid, hassle-free alternative to bulky fish oil capsules.

I’ve been taking these Vitalitown Krill Oil softgels for a few weeks to support heart, brain, and immune health, and they’ve been a reliable addition to my daily routine. The 1000mg dosage hits a great sweet spot, providing essential EPA and DHA along with natural phospholipids and astaxanthin for efficient absorption.I particularly value that the krill is sustainably sourced, and I haven’t experienced any unpleasant fishy burps or aftertaste after taking them. The softgels are smooth and easy to swallow with water.The only reason for withholding the fifth star is that the 60-count container only provides a one-month supply if taken twice daily, so a larger bottle option would offer better convenience and value.

Easy to take fish oil from krill. With a month supply here and solid and simple ingredients. I always like fish oil for my joints. Since I work out just about every day as well as a physical day job too. So all these things help out. But I think fish oil helps more than most other supplements. And this one right here is a very nice one. Easy to swallow and no fishy aftertaste. Works for me.

Small gel cap that’s easy to swallow. No aftertaste so far
The first thing I did when I opened and unsealed the bottle was to stick my nose to it and sniff. I could definitely smell the fish oil. I popped one into my mouth and noticed that the outside had a bit of a sweet taste. I swallowed it easily because it’s a small softgel. Afterward I haven’t noticed any fish taste or fish burps. That’s a huge positive to me. I’m supposed to take fish oil so this gives me a good alternative to what I usually take. A dose is 2 soft gels daily, which provides 200 mg of Omega 3. That’s not a lot compared to some but I can take it with my regular brand for a booster. There are 60 in the bottle, thus a 30 day supply. The price is reasonable but I wish the amount of Omega 3 was higher.
