High-quality, soy-free and non-GMO phosphatidylserine
My son was recommended casually by his doctor to try phosphatidylserine for his attention deficit problems. It seems to help him clear his brain fog and stay focused on his study. He has been using a PS100 formula from another leading supplement manufacturer, which uses Sharp-PS Green form of phosphatidylserine. Sharp-PS is derived from sunflower oil and is soy-free and non-GMO, which is supposed to be one of the better, bioactive form available. It seems to work better than the soy-based phosphatidylserine.This product contain 150mg of Sharp-PS per softgel. The softgels are pretty easy to swallow. He likes these better than the PS100 since he doesn’t need to take these as often. He finds this product just as effective. It helps him stay in focus better and longer. The softgels are also free of coatings, binders, gluten, dairy, soy, eggs and sugar.Overall, this is a high-quality supplement for healthy cognitive and mental functions. It uses the Sharp-PS form which is soy-free and non-GMO. Excellent product. I would highly recommend it.

I was not too familiar with this supplement prior to accepting a bottle for review purposes. I was then hesitant to try it after reading the warnings in several reviews about contraindications from this supplement with other medications. A little investigation disclosed that the primary concern is if you are taking a medication that acts a blood thinner, or is in fact a blood thinner, as this product may act as blood thinner. The instructions on the bottle itself do not state or warn of any contraindications and only notify you to consult a physician before use if you are pregnant. So, not coming within the confines of any of the contraindications I finally began taking the supplement to try it out. So far, after over two weeks of use I cannot notice any effects of any kind, positive or negative. Also, I got a scratch on my finger just yesterday and could not discern any degradation in my body’s ability to stop the blood flow and heal the cut. The reason I mention this is that one effect of thinning of the blood is that it harder for the body to stem and stop blood loss from a cut and people who take blood thinners are advised accordingly. So, no blood thinning effects from this product as far as I can tell. I am going to continue to take this product until it is gone and purchase some more as I do believe that even the potential of its benefits are worth it.

A lifesaver for panic attacks
My functional medicine practitioner recommended this supplement to help with symptoms of anxiety/panic attacks. I was having daily instances of feeling like I couldn’t catch my breath and had a tightness in my chest, but within less than 2 weeks of taking this, my symptoms almost completely disappeared. This has been amazing.

It actually works.
I’ve tried multiple brands and for what ever reason, this one improved my sleep metrics and improves my over all health. I try to keep a surplus’s handy so I have no lapse in supple. Even seeking health brand was junk compared to this. Also out performed pure encapsulations which tends to be my go too for all things supplement.Strongly recommend this for overall health and cortisol control at night before bed. Huge difference.

Odd-sized pillOdd-sized pill
I have been taking this particular supplement made by another brand (in the photo, the other brand’s pill is on the right). I have noticed some improvements to my brain fog with the other brand, tho it’s a lower MG, so when this one came up for review, I thought I would try it.Unfortunately, the Vital Nutrients pill is an odd shape – like a round, hard stone (the pill in the middle of the photo) – and I had a really hard time swallowing it. Like another reviewer said, it would get stuck in my throat. After about a week, I just couldn’t take it anymore. (literally & figuratively)I also didn’t notice any difference in my brain fog with the higher dose.I decided to go back to the other brand because it is a normal pill shape and I can tolerate swallowing it. This one is also more expensive at the current price of $43.69.My husband started taking this one, and said he hasn’t noticed a difference.Neither of us experienced any negative side effects.
