Great Caffeine Boost Without a Crash Later
Like a lot of people, I have at least one cup of coffee every morning. I like coffee because it tastes good and it has the caffeine I need to get my day jumpstarted. I am the complete opposite of a morning person so caffeine is not really something optional for me. Unfortunately though there have been times in the morning that I have hit ‘snooze’ a few times too many and next thing I know, I am running late. When I run late, I then have to forgo my usual coffee, and settle for the not-so-good office coffee. It is horrible.I searched for some alternatives specifically for this exact situation, and ended up with a ton to consider. I wanted to find something that tasted good, wasn’t too expensive, and something that did not really have a ton of sugar. After considering about 10 options or so, I went ahead and purchased this sample pack of 6 pouches from Vital 4U. I figured a sampler was the way to go as it was a way to try it out without having to spend a bunch of money on something I may not like.The other morning I ended up waking up a little later than I should have so by the time I made it to the kitchen it was too late to make a cup of my favorite coffee. I opened the Vital 4U package, and inside were the 6 pouches. There were 3 blue and 3 pink pouches. The pink were the coffee flavor and the blue were the cherry chocolate flavor. I went with one of the coffee flavored pouches, and since it was the first one I was trying, I just opened it right there in my kitchen instead of on the drive to the office. The pouch contained about half of an ounce of liquid, so it isn’t very much at all. But in the liquid that is there, there is ginseng, 40mg caffeine, 6 different B vitamins, and taurine. The flavor is actually very tasty. It tastes like a regular cup of coffee to me. The burst of energy was detectable within a couple of minutes. It actually kept me going for about 4 to 5 hours, which I was surprised by. I did get a tad hungry about two hours after drinking it, but when the energy starting wearing off, it was gradual and not a big crash. In addition, since the serving is so small, the chance of any stomach or digestion issue is slim. The only thing that I did not like was that I drank it at room temperature instead of refrigerating it. There are several other flavors available, so I can buy sample packs to see which one is my favorite without having to buy the full-sized packs. These energy packets taste horrible. They have a very bitter and strong coffee flavor that is trying to be masked by another flavor. Again they taste horrible! With that said, these are amazing for energy! When I drink one of these packets in the morning I have energy all day long. There are no jitters. It’s like the caffeine is on a slow release that releases all day long. At the end of the day I do not feel a sugar crash or a caffeine crash. The energy just slowly fades away and I am able to sleep comfortably. These energy packets are a staple for me. Forget the taste because these are phenomenal! There is no carbonation. They are very easy to digest and do not cause an upset stomach. Even with the taste I have never had an upset stomach. They are highly effective in giving energy without the crash and the jitters! They are a great value!

This is a review for the VITAL 4U Liquid Energy Sample Pack.You’re getting a bag that contains 6 pouches. There are 3 pouches of coffee flavor and 3 pouches of chocolate cherry flavor.Just a quick note, I’m almost positive I’ve actually tried these before! I used to subscribe to a healthy samples box subscription and I’m pretty sure these were in there! This was many years ago. Awesome box, I miss it!Anyway, flashbacks aside, on to the review!These energy pouches contain thiamin, niacin, biotin, riboflavin, pyridoxine, and b12. 100% daily value of each! And panax ginseng. It’s clocking in at 34 calories and 7 grams of sugar per serving. I’m not seeing any caffeine content listed on the packaging, but it definitely contains caffeine. Listen, I’m an energy drink consumer so I’m okay with an absurd amount of caffeine, but it’s still important to know the amount you’re consuming, you know? So maybe add that information somewhere on the actual package. That would be helpful and appreciated.I love the portable and easy to open packages! I’m also really digging the color scheme of the packaging! Give me all the pink!!!The taste of the product is a very strong coffee flavor. It’s like a sweetened espresso shot. I think it’s enjoyable, but if you don’t like the taste of strong coffee you might be put off. I was super excited to try the chocolate cherry flavor as I love a cherry cordial! Sadly, I didn’t taste chocolate or cherry, it just tasted like the coffee version. I’d love to see the chocolate and cherry flavor made more pronounced!How effective are these though, you may be asking.Well, as I mentioned, I can handle a crazy amount of caffeine without any effect or jitters. I can sleep after drinking an energy drink. So to me the effect isn’t super noticeable. I did notice a slight difference on a day where I had no sleep and was exhausted. So it’s definitely contributing something, just nothing too crazy if you’re a regular caffeine consumer.Overall, I’d purchase these again and I do enjoy the ease of use, the taste, and the added pep to my step! Just up the chocolate cherry flavor, please and thank you! Five stars, easy.

Nice B complex mixture
Was kind of cool to get a sample pack of the Vital 4U liquid energy shot pouches on Amazon Vine to test and review. My opinion is that they do not taste very good on their own, but they are great to add to your drink. I add these to my protein milk drink, and I actually love the original coffee flavor added to the protein drink. For the money $6 for a six-pack, I am not sure I would purchase these and that is the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars. But purchasing the sample pack is way cheaper than buying the 24 pack per ounce, so I do find that to be odd. The packaging is awesome and the ease of use is simple and very portable. They mix well with my other drink, so that is a plus for me. 175mg of caffeine is not great, but it is an energy drink, so should be expected. Contains ginseng, and vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B7, & B12, so a great mixture of B complex vitamins.

Convenient Energy Boost, Flavor Could Be Better.
I liked having these on hand for busy mornings when I needed a quick pick-me-up without making another cup of coffee. They definitely gave me an energy boost and helped me power through the day. The pouches are easy to carry and simple to use, which is a nice bonus. The only downside for me was the flavor, it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t something I’d look forward to either. If you care more about the energy than the taste, these are worth trying.
