Needs clearer ingredients details, forms of vitamins not listed
When I first looked at this product I could not find a complete ingredients list. Ingredients should be front and center of any listing, it should be in the images of the product too. Upon receiving it I discovered it has Allulose as one of the main ingredients, a sweetener that I cannot tolerate (likely due to it often being derived from wheat). After looking over the product page again I DID find the ingredients in the print section below the pages of images advertising the product.Since the ingredients ARE listed, just discreetly I’m only taking 1 star off for this, but again, ingredients should be the first thing you put on a listing, not the last.Since I cannot use this product I had my girlfriend try it. She reports it has a good flavor and mixes well into drinks.Also this product lists which vitamins it contains but it does NOT list what form they are in, a concern for B6, which some forms are well tolerated and others can easily be over-supplemented and cause health problems. Also is the B12 a methylated form or not? I’d guess not, but they did not list it on the ingredients so who knows.This brand really needs to improve it’s information transparency on what their products are actually made of

I got the Vitafusion Hydraboost Drink Powder Packets because, like most people, I don’t think I’m getting enough vitamins and thought this would be a great way to do so. I wanted to love this drink mix so bad, but unfortunately, I do not.The taste: For me, this tasted like everything and nothing all at the same time. I found it to be bland.The mixing: Like others have said, this doesn’t mix as well as it could. However, I have this problem with a lot of drink mixes. Just let it sit in the water for a couple of minutes to help the ingredients get absorbed into the water.The ingredients: I did not realize this product had Stevia Leaf in it. Unfortunately, Stevia gives me migraines, so I had to give this to a coworker. I did not receive any sort of noticeable hydration boost from the two packets that I tried before I realized what was causing my headaches.

Good for What It Is, Uses Allulose
I don’t think you can put all these ingredients into a powder mix and expect it to taste like purely fruit juice etc – the fiber in particular is going to lend a certain flavor/texture. That being said, this doesn’t taste gross or artificial to me, it definitely tastes like I’m drinking something for my health and not enjoyment but it’s not bad at all. I use it in my water bottle and shake well (don’t stir this into a glass, it needs shaking to dissolve properly) and it’s certainly hydrating (as is water..). I use more water than they suggest as I always do with drink packets, which makes it a little thinner tasting but I think that might help here.It uses allulose, which is an expensive ingredient so the price seems in line with that. ($24.99 for 15 packets at time of review) Allulose is a very healthy sugar alternative that is not artificial and tastes very very close to sugar. There is a bit of stevia further down in the ingredient list but I don’t taste it, though I don’t mind stevia as a sweetener in certain things. If you’re looking for the health benefits this claims, it’s certainly worth a try.

These hydration packets taste really great and are great quality. They are really sweet (but not overly sweet) and I had worried that it might be one of those hydration sticks that has a lot of sugar. I was shocked when I double checked and saw it has less than one gram of sugar! And it doesn’t have that weird aftertaste that some products get from having sugar alternatives.The packets are convenient and easy-to-use. I keep a few in my bag that I bring to work. I’ve found the best way to get them to mix well is to add a packet to one of the small, 8 ounce water bottles and vigorously shake it. The powder then blends easily and smoothly.I do believe these packets are effective, especially after a night of being out and engaging in activities that dehydrate you (it definitely has lessened the effects for me the next morning).

Tasty & Effective!
I was surprised at how good this powder drink tasted! It truly does taste like pineapple, cherry, and orange with the orange being more prominent on the back end. It also does have a bit of a vitamin taste, but it’s not bad.There are no directions that I could see, so I just poured one packet into an empty cup and poured cold water over it. The packet itself was easy to open – I actually opened it by hand instead of using scissors because I wanted to see if this could be done easily as I plan to take these on a cruise and I won’t be able to bring scissors onboard. I was quite pleased that I was able to easily and quickly open the packet without much effort.The powder seemed to dissolve pretty well with some little bubbles of dried powder floating on top that needed to be addressed. I used a fork to stir and scrape the bottom of the cup and I thought I did pretty well, but there was still some left in the edges at the bottom of the cup that became visible after finishing the drink.I tried this for the first time after a long night out and some drinking. This packet perked me right up the next morning and I felt great for the remainder of the day. I would dare say it was more effective (and tastier) than some sports drinks that I’ve used before for this same purpose. I also love that there’s less than one gram of sugar per serving! I prefer zero sugar, but this is also a great compromise.The pack of 15 is quite expensive, but given how delicious this actually tastes and how effective it is, I’d say it’s definitely worth the investment to ensure a great morning after. Highly recommended!
