I had ordered the Vitafusion Hydraboost Hydration Drink Mix at the beginning of winter and was originally waiting for summer to try this. Right now I am currently stuck in the house in the middle of a blizzard outside, I am so tired of winter that I needed something to remind me of summer. The Watermelon Blast Hydraboost was just the thing I needed.The directions call for one scoop for 8-16 ounces of water, so I began with one scoop in a 16-ounce bottle of water. It took a lot of shaking the bottle until I stopped seeing powder and there wasn’t enough flavor for me. I added another 3/4 of a scoop along with crushed ice. The crushed ice sped up the mixing process so I would recommend either that, a shaker bottle or blender to help get it fully dissolved.A little less than 2 scoops for 16 ounces was the perfect amount for my taste. I love how refreshing it tastes, and it will be even better to enjoy it in the summer. I am amazed how the mixture of apple, orange, pineapple, banana, carrot, and sweet potato juice powder combines to taste just like watermelon. I don’t usually like watermelon flavored items because of how sour they can be, but this is lightly sweet and deliciously fresh tasting.

This comes in an 11.85 oz tub with a screw top.30 Servings per container.A measuring scoop is included. One scoop (11.2g) is recommended to be mixed with 8-16 fl oz or water , juice or into a smoothie. I’ve just used cold water, 16oz and found that one scoop produces a flavorful enough drink for me.Taste:I usually say that Watermelon is my least favorite hydration drink flavor. But this one is pretty good.Apple powder and Orange Juice powder are high on the ingredient list as well as several other fruit and vegetable powders. I’m very surprised to see all of these natural ingredients in this drink. There is no watermelon in the mix. They must be counting on the combination of the flavors to combine into something that tastes like watermelon.Well, maybe it does taste a little like watermelon, but I like it a lot more than any other drink I’ve tried that called itself watermelon.Electrolytes:Sodium, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium and Zinc. Refreshing Watermelon Color but Tricky to Mix
This watermelon hydration drink mix has a pleasant look once it is fully blended. The color turns into a nice watermelon shade that feels bright and refreshing. The powder itself is very fine which makes it a little hard to dissolve in cold water. It tends to float on top and in clumps and needs lots of extra stirring to get it fully mixed.The flavor is so so and there is an aftertaste that leans a bit metallic. I found that using a lower concentration of powder per eight ounces made the taste a little better.
