The flavor is not for me
I really wanted to like these Vitafusion Hydraboost drink packets, but the flavor just didn’t sit right. The tropical punch tastes fake — like a muted, artificial fruit blend — and the sweetness leans heavy on that telltale artificial sweetener aftertaste. I tried it with 16 ounces of water, hoping to dilute the intensity, but it still didn’t help much.On the upside, the powder dissolves well without any grit or noticeable cloudiness, and I did feel a slight jolt of energy after drinking it. That might be useful for someone who’s feeling dehydrated or low on vitamins, but overall, it’s not enjoyable enough to drink regularly. I’ve used other hydration powders I liked better, so this might be for like dire straits.

This electrolyte mix has been a solid addition to my routine. It blends fairly easily and has been enjoyable to use overall, especially when I’m looking to stay hydrated during busy or active days. The flavor is pleasant enough to drink consistently, which makes it easier to stick with.The one downside is that it still has a bit of a chalky texture. It’s noticeable, especially if you don’t mix it thoroughly. Great ingredients but artificial tasting
I have POTS and have trialed a bunch of different drink mixes for extra hydration and supplements. I hadn’t tried these yet and I love the extra vitamins included. I did find that it did take a little bit of extra mixing to get it fully dissolved but once dissolved it didn’t give any weird textures. The flavor is pretty average as far as strength but does have an artificial aftertaste which is not my favorite, which is why I only rated 4/5. However, if it doesn’t bother you then you should give this one a try. I think it’s pretty comparable to liquid IV. I did like how easy it is to just throw in your bag or something to take on the go. I don’t know if I’ll end up using these but I’ll definitely pass on to others.

I found this drink powder very sweet for my taste, tropical fruit was not the impression I got from it. I personally didn’t sense any positive benefits in hydration level or digestive health after using it for roughly daily two weeks- making me question the effectiveness for its high cost.At first glance, the marketing jargon in the product information and on the label give the impression of a super healthy product. Looking into the actual ingredients is important for anyone sensitive to additives which is more and more common.The sweeteners in the list are allulose, soluble corn fiber, and stevia leaf extract.Allulose: Although used as a low-calorie sweetener, it can can digestive discomfort like bloating or gas, similar to other sweeteners, especially in higher amounts. It’s the second most prevalent ingredient in this, so there’s a lot.Stevia Leaf Extract: A natural, high-intensity sweetener derived from the Stevia rebaudiana plant. Some stevia contains added sugar alcohols however. People hypersensitive to these can experience nausea, bloating, low blood pressure, and hormone disruption.Soluble Corn Fiber: Provides some sweetness while also serving as a source of dietary fiber. There’s more of it than anything else in this powder, yet the fiber content is only 18% rda?Then there are the artificial ingredients that many can be sensitive to as well. First there are the thickeners/anti-caking agents: acacia gum, xanthan gum, and silicon dioxide. Then the ambiguous “flavor” ingredient. This term can denote either natural or artificial flavorings; without the “natural” qualifier, it is often considered artificial or a mix.I gave it 3 stars as it isn’t the worst product in this category (hydration supplement powders). The “why boost” picture highlights some benefits. It can be mixed with smoothies and juices, but not universally added to any beverage.
