VEGATOT Organic Milk Thistle Complex 9 in 1 FormulaI have a supplement checklist because we use a lot of supplements. I can’t afford to send them to be tested for purity, so I rely on reading the label. There’s a lot more to learn from a label than what you see. There is what the label DOESN’T say as well. Sometimes it’s tricky.For instance, this label from Vegatot says ‘formulated in the USA’ and shows an American flag. It also gives an address in NJ. Many people might think this product is made in the USA. It probably is NOT. In my experience, if it were made in the USA, it would state that on the label. This is a marketing tactic. I feel it’s rather deceptive, but it’s legal. Vegatot’s US address is there as distributed by them, not made at that address. It is there as an FDA requirement that supplements have contact information in the USA. Now, we all know that contact by phone is easier, so I do like to see a phone number on supplements.We have to see exactly what is and is not on a label but also know why it’s there.What I like about this Organic Milk Thistle Complex is that all of ingredients work synergistically to support the liver. Also even though it is a called a complex, the amounts of each listed ingredient are listed.The supplement is called Organic Milk Thistle Complex however the individual ingredients aren’t listed as organic. According to the name, I am assuming that perhaps only the milk thistle is organic.I LOVE that the only ‘other ingredients’ are the cellulose capsules. It’s a big plus, because as you may notice, the lack of fillers means 1 capsule is the serving size, so this $17 bottle of 150 capsules will last a full 150 days – unless of course you take more than one a day. The directions say to take 1-2 per day.The product also states that it’s lab tested. That’s a plus, but what is doesn’t say is that it’s 3rd party lab tested. Some people delve deeply into their supplements and actually contact companies asking for the reports. I think that’s an excellent idea, I just don’t have that kind of time.This supplement definitely checks all my boxes to be a supplement I’d try and repurchase. The price is very good, and won’t break the bank, since the bottle should last 75-150 days. I rated it 4.5 stars because it’s above average, but could be much more transparent with the label information.

What a great value! First of all, I love that this is organic, and formulated in the USA! I also love that it contains the benefits of 9 additional supplements in one capsule. You get 150 capsules in a bottle, and the serving size is 1 capsule, so it will last 5 months, making it a great value. The capsule is a normal size, easy to swallow with no after taste. I would order it again!

This VEGATOT Organic Milk Thistle Complex is a good value. This bottle of 150 capsules is a 5 months supply. This is made in a GMP certified facility from all natural, vegetable based ingredients and lab tested for quality assurance.This combines 9 different supplements into one capsule. Capsules are easy to swallow. They have no off-putting smell, taste or aftertaste.This comes in two layers of tamper evident packaging. It has a seal around the lid and another on the lip of the bottle. I purchased this in 3/2024, and this expires in 11/2026. IMO This was a good value. YMMV.

I have used numerous brands of milk thistle supplements, and this is the first that I have experienced that includes quite a complex of ingredients that work together to promote a comprehensive liver support and detoxification. The list of active ingredients includes Artichoke, Berberine HCL, Zinc, Black Pepper and Dandelion Root, amongst others, combined into a potent anti-inflammatory formulation. I was also pleasantly surprised that it claims all active ingredients are organically sourced, vegan friendly, and formulated in the USA by a GMP-certified facility. With this compelling combination, along with its value pricing, this is a milk thistle supplement I can recommend.
