This is much better than a similar and random product I tried from a health-food store a few months ago. I almost turned this down, because the store-bought one had been sour tasting, but this one is really quite good, and it really surprised me.First off, this is not sour, the way that it would be if the mushrooms were old. This is fresh-tasting and has a nice and natural mushroom flavor like a high-quality supplement has. The protein dissolves well, when I mix it well, and the coffee component is pleasant tasting.I can’t have high caffeine, only low-caffeine, and so I tested this at half-strength, and it’s perfect for me. The taste is mild, pleasant, fresh, and natural, without any chemical taste or sourness from old ingredients. The bag is a good size for the money but still costs a bit much, and I’m basing that on what I paid for a similar product in a store a while back, but I still feel that it’s a bit costly, for me, and so I’d only buy this on sale, given the cost. Great ingredients, but just an off product, okay taste
I bought this because the ingredients were great. However I just can’t figure out this product or when to take it. It’s a protein shake/caffeine drink. It tastes okay, so im not dying to drink it. Texture once mixed isnt bad either though. But it tastes like a protein coffee. You know its a protein drink so you can’t quite get over that. Quality seems good, as long as youre not lactose, digestibility should be decent too, although sometimes whey creates stomach issues.Overall, a great product if separate, but I just found too many good health benefits in one made it a lesser product especially at the price which is high enough that you want to ensure you’re getting great value.
