Sweet potatoes in a bag—good stuff, baffling packaging.
Tastes exactly like sweet potatoes, because that’s all it is—no surprises, no weird aftertaste, just a versatile, earthy powder. Mixes into hot drinks, yogurt, or oatmeal just fine. I suspect it’d be fantastic over vanilla ice cream, if you want to get creative. But for a product bragging about its “high fiber” content, the serving size is laughably tiny. Four grams per scoop, yet the label lists zero fiber per serving. If you want to actually track your macros, good luck. Would it really kill you to list the numbers for a normal 100g serving? Some of us want to do the math without a microscope. And then there’s the scoop. Or rather, the absence of one. If you’re going to base the whole serving size around a scoop, how about actually including one? Instead, I had to excavate the bag with half my arm, only to confirm there’s nothing but powder. At $25 a pound, you’d think they could spring for a five-cent piece of plastic. Or just list the serving size in kitchen terms—like a teaspoon—so I can use what I already own.Solid, pure product. Good for smoothies, baking, or whatever you dream up, but held back by dumb decisions on packaging and labeling. A few simple fixes would make it perfect.

Great product – very questionable packaging
A few issues that really should never occur in a commercial products.1. It lists things per scoop – but there’s no scoop. This is a HUGE red flag about quality and who’s making the product vs writing instructions/labels. No quality control at all is scary.2. The macros are not listed per 100g as is the standard so it’s REALLY hard to know what you’re getting as it says a serving gives 0 fiber but then on the label it says how much fiber is in multiple scoops. Another red flag.Once you get past those, it’s a rather awesome product. It tastes exactly like sweet potato with a mildly sweet flavor that almost goes a little nutty in a great way. It works amazing in smoothies and in breads, which are the two ways I’ve tried it so far.I have a standard recipe using canned pumpkin… modifying it for dried powder was actually easier than I thought as I just used it in place of bread flour and used 50g per 500g of flour (10%). This added a noticeable but light sweet potato flavor to the bread that was enjoyed by everyone I shared the loaves with. I will try going up to 15% or even 20% in the future just to see how it goes – it will likely make the bread more dense while adding more flavor.

Good way to add sweet potato to my diet
This stuff is pretty great if you use it right. I tried adding it to hot milk to make a sort of sweet potato faux latte, but it formed clumps and quickly settled to the bottom. I’ve had much more luck using it in baking, adding it to soups and porridges, etc. It tastes good mixed into oatmeal with a bit of cinnamon and brown sugar. It’s hard to know the actual nutritional content based on labeling; for example, the listing describes it as “naturally high in fiber,” but the nutrition information says “0 grams of fiber” because it’s based on such a tiny serving size. Despite that, this powder is tasty and relatively easy to incorporate into my regular diet, and does seem to “support digestive wellness” as stated in the listing. I just use much bigger servings than what the nutrition information is based on.

Delicious in a latte, and if you’re brave try with vanilla ice cream!
Tastes great in both coffee and just plain milk! The color isn’t vibrant which makes me think it’s more natural. Had no digestive side effects, is very yummy. Good amount for the price given the high quality organic contents. This going to sound weird, but try mixing with just a little amount of milk, and then mix that blend with some vanilla ice cream…my goodness!!!! Talk about a killer combo. Also good for latte’s. Would definitely recommend, 10 out of 10.

Delicious in soups
This sweet potato powder comes in a resealable bag that’s good for airtight storage. The only ingredient is organic sweet potato powder, and there’s a USDA organic stamp on the front. Shelf life is 24 months. The powder is pale greenish-beige in color and free of clumps. It has a pleasant sweet, slightly earthy scent.I’ve recently been making a bowl of soup by adding a bunch of spices, veggies, and beans together in a bowl and pouring hot water over them. I omitted the carrot powder I usually use and added this sweet potato powder instead, and it tasted much better than usual. It went great with the garlic, celery powder, cayenne, and salt.I think this is excellent for soups — it gives them a savory, slightly sweet taste. It seems pricey at $24, but it’s organic and there’s a ton in the bag so it will last me a while. Great product.

I like that it’s clearly labeled and comes in a resealable bag that’s easy to store. Overall, it’s straightforward to use and does what you’d expect from a simple powdered ingredient.

Great for baking and as a thickener for soups and sauces
Sweet potato is one of our favorite carbohydrates as it has so many benefits compared to regular potatoes and grains. It has a lower glycemic index than many other sources of carbohydrates, which makes it a good choice for people trying to add high quality carbs to their diet.I ordered this sweet potato powder to use in baking and general cooking, and it has worked really well so far. If you are looking for a gluten free flour replacement for baking, this is a perfect choice when blended with other gluten free flours like rice or chickpeas. It adds a pleasant sweet taste to home baked breads. In addition to baking, it is also perfect as a thickener for soups and sauces. I added it to chicken bone broth along with some cheddar cheese and broccoli to make a delicious thick cheddar broccoli soup.Overall, this is a versatile powder that can be used in everyday cooking to add richness and thickness to your dishes, and it can also be used as a gluten free flour replacement.
