Small Tablets Are Easy To Ingest
Chromium is found in a lot of foods, but amounts may vary depending on soil/water conditions, as well as the agricultural and manufacturing processes used to produce them. Because of that uncertainty, I like to add chromium picolinate as a supplement, but the multivitamin I take doesn’t include it in their ingredient list. These are small tablets, and an easy addition to any supplement regimen. 120 tablets lasts a long time too.

This bottle comes about 25% full, which is usually one of my pet peeves with supplement companies. When used as directed, however, this bottle will last four months. The tablets are very small and the bottle is already on the small side, so it wouldn’t do to make it much smaller, and there are too many tablets to make a blister pack a good option.The expiration date on mine is Jan 2027, so a little more than 2.5 years from now.The tablets don’t have much of a scent or taste and are easy to swallow with water.I like my supplement bottles to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and Made in USA. This one says non-GMO and 3rd-party tested. The product page says GMP-compliant and that the 3rd-party testers are ISO-accredited laboratories.I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many shady ones lately. Type Zero doesn’t check all my boxes when it comes to verifying a company, but the things I have seen have allowed me to make them one of my trusted supplement companies. Jon, the founder, appears on the typezerohealth site, which also has a chat feature. I would like a smoother way to be able to see their certifications and test results – not that I would do it, I just like knowing it is there if I wanted to see it =) And I know some people do.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but Type Zero always offers great products (other than the fillers – and I the rare times I see corn starch I wonder if that’s included in the non-GMO statement) at impressive prices.Thank you for reading, I hope it’s been helpful.

Standard Chromium Tablet
A friend suggested that I take chromium for my insulin resistance many years ago. I don’t know if chromium actually helps with insulin resistance. I’ve never taken chromium religiously but I have taken it before. This seems to be your standard chromium tablet. Nothing extraordinary. It’s just a small white flavorless tablet that you swallow down with some water. With that being said, tablets can still go bad. These tablets were not bad or expired. The expiration date is clearly marked on the bottom of the bottle with an expiration date approximately 2.5 years away. The bottle was sealed. I have no complaints.

Though I didn’t read it all, I love the personal story on the manufacturer’s website.-Easy to swallow.-No adverse tastes, smells, or side effects-Able to easily find company website.-Nice packaging-Difficult to read label in places-At the time of this writing, the manufacturer did not say on this site where the supplement was made. The label says, “Manufactured for TypeZero,” at a UT address.-GMP certified facility-3rd party testing-“NSF Certified GMP Compliant facility and undergoing rigorous third-party testing by independent ISO-accredited laboratories, Type Zero prioritizes the quality and purity of each batch, ensuring a reliable and trustworthy supplement.”-Safety seals were intact-I’m not a healthcare professional or expert on supplements.

One small pill for 1000mg dose, does contain lactose
I selected this brand because the pills were tiny compared to the other brand I was using, which also required 4 pills to equal 1000mg. This brand’s serving size is only 1 small 1/4” pill. It is easy to swallow and has no smell or taste. It was also much cheaper to purchase this brand at this dose than anything in my local vitamin stores. It is important to note that while it’s gluten free, it does contain lactose.

Label on bottle is difficult to read without a magnifier. But hey, its a small bottle with lots of info to convey. Correct count of 120 tablets. Small easy to swallow. Tablets contain 1000mcg of chromium which is 5 times the amount of the brand I have been using. The suggested use is 1 tablet a day. The price point is $9.00 for 120 tablets which is a little more per tablet, but a lot less per mcg than I have been paying. Expiration date was 32 months beyond date of purchase.I encourage anyone to do your own research before taking any supplement and check with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure you won’t have any negative prescription interactions. If researching the internet, check the sites with .org, .edu, or .gov. Any site with a .com is going to try and sell you something.
