SUPERFOOD POWDER - True Grace Broccoli Microgreens are an easy way for kids & adults alike to get more of the superfood compounds found only in the broccoli family—specifically glucoraphanin & sulforaphane, which support cellular and immune health
WHAT IS A MICROGREEN - Microgreens are edible seedlings of vegetables & herbs. While used primarily in the restaurant industry as embellishments, they’re 2-10 times more nutrient dense than their full-grown counterparts.
SOIL GROWN - We grow our microgreens in nutrient-dense soil rather than hydroponically. This means they absorb nutrients to nourish the plant and you! Glucoraphanin & sulforaphane, for example, are created through metabolism of nutrients in the soil.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING - Being true to people and the planet is at the core of everything we do at True Grace. Through our support of the ReSea project, for every pouch you purchase, an equivalent amount of plastic is pulled out of ocean and river waters. By supporting True Grace, you are part of our mission to protect the heart of our planet.
GOOD FOR YOU & THE EARTH AROUND YOU - True Grace is rooted in the knowledge that comes with experience. With nearly 70 years of experience leading some of the top mission-driven companies in the natural products industry. We’re regenerating nutrition from the ground up through nutrient-dense supplements that strive to improve the health of body and planet. We are certified Carbon Neutral, hitting net zero greenhouse gas emissions for our company operations.

SCAM! Overpriced vegetable powder!
@ $138.11 per/Oz this is an outrageously priced scam aimed at the health conscious! (a particularly at risk community)If you’re looking at this product, may I suggest 3 BETTER OPTIONS:1) Powdered Broccoli @ $1.29 per/Oz, contains EXACTLY THE SAME NUTRIENTS PLUS MORE FIBER!2) Live Broccoli Sprouts @ $2.39 per/Oz, not as convenient yet contain many living enzymes that are destroyed in powdered products, also $20 kits to sprout your own for endless fresh supply!3) Grazing on the grass in your lawn like a cow @ $0 + the cost of looking like a fool to your neighbors you will still be the wiser for not paying $2,209.76 per/lbs or ($4,872.52 per/kilo) for what is essentially only VEGETABLE POWER.

how not to die
Broccoli microgreens. Not late broccoli. Therefore does not taste like broccoli. Smells like it, but taste is very very mild. Freeze dried, which can bring out a sweet taste. Kind of neutral to me, but I consume all sorts of strong flavors normally.Small amount, and only need as a serving. Freeze dried by nature reduces the size of an item but all the nutrients are still there. I like that they list what the equivalence is from freeze dried microgreens to fresh pre freeze dried form. It is significant as expected: 1/4 tsp is equal to 3/4 CUP of microgreens.I am a big fan of broccoli anything. I already use sulforaphane products. I became hip to them once I read and listen to the “how not to die” guy. Cut your broccoli and add mustard seed powder! Anyway, always open to trying brocc related products. I just add this to a smoothie, oats, water. I actually tend to just take with water– I just see it as a supplement. I dont need to hide it. Add to water, chug. Done.We can all see the price, we all have different budgets, needs, preferences so I simply don’t/won’t rate on price, but I comment. Freeze dried products are pricy. There are no cheap freeze dried items out there. This is microgreens from a high quality company, so the price is premium. Not sure if my budget could handle this month to month, but I have no qualms with the product, at all. You decide if it is a price point you can afford. If you are here, then you likely have already learned about the massive benefit that broccoli can provide the body. If not, then look up glucoraphanin and sulforaphane. I love broccoli, it is one of my favorite vegetables. Despite wanting to eat it daily, I dont always find it at the store, or it is too pricy, or it doesnt look good. So I supplement. As much as I want to gripe about the price, I doubt I would pay less in buying fresh. There are other products out there that have better price point, but since i dont rate on price, I will give this 5 stars for quality and transparency.

Helps me balance out my greens intake
I have a bad habit of letting my produce get funky in the crisper. I hate wasting food and money so I decided to switch my approach and try adding some supplements to my diet. These broccoli greens are a great addition to my routine! I love that the packaging is eco friendly, and there’s no further waste by adding a measuring apparatus that most people would throw away anyway. The powder is VERY fine, so I found it easier for me to put it in a jar and scoop it out if that, but the pouch is resealable.

A great way to get your greens, fast!
True Grace’s microgreen powder is a small wonder! It’s Regenerative Organic Certified, assuring me that I’m consuming a product that’s not only good for my health but also for the environment. Also knowing that it’s a woman-owned business adds an extra layer of trust and proactivity! The 0.4 oz container provides me with 30 servings, which is great for either everyday or just when I need a good hit of yummy broccoli goodness. The powder format is incredibly convenient. I can easily incorporate it into my daily routine by adding it to my morning smoothie or even sprinkling it over my salad for an extra health kick.10/10 This powder is easily incorporated in anything! It makes for a great addition to a picky eater’s daily nutrition; especially or fussy kids who suddenly decide they don’t like broccoli anymore!

Taste is OK, but I won’t buy it again.
The powder tastes like broccoli, which should not be a surprise to anyone. The problem I have with it is when I put a spoon in the bag to get the measured amount, the spoon seems to drag some of the powder onto the counter. I think it is because the powder is so extremely light, because I can’t seem to not spill a bit. At the price of the powder, I won’t buy this again.

Fascinating supplement
On the surface, these broccoli microgreens seem like an overpriced dietary supplement gimic. But after learning more about the regenerative agriculture process that got it here, I’m very intrigued. I’m interested in learning more about regenerative agriculture because I care about our planet, and so it’s worth taking into consideration that the basic principles behind the development of this product are:1) Mimic natural prairie ecosystems 2) Minimize soil disturbance 3) Promote biodiversity 4) Keep living plants roots in the soil 5) Integrate animals as a natural part of the system. The powder tastes (not surprisingly) like broccoli. The serving size is 1/4 tsp daily, which puts it at just under $2 per serving (at the time I purchased). It would be awesome if more ecologically conscientious products like this, became more widely used so that the prices could adjust and they could become more affordable. For now (until it’s more affordable) this powder will be my “go to” supplement while traveling, since that’s when I’m unable to be as diligent about consuming fresh greens.

Smells similar to dry seasoned seaweed barely has flavor mixed with teriyaki sauce
The broccoli microgreen powder smells similar to dry seasoned seaweed. I like to sprinkle it in my teriyaki sauce in half-serving amounts and don’t notice a flavor difference with the sauce. I’m glad I discovered the superfood powder cause I haven’t been able to eat fresh broccoli for years due to missing teeth. It used to be a daily food ingredient but now I can still get some of the nutrition benefits of the vegetable by using a powder. Overall, the broccoli microgreen supplement powder works well with providing my body with what I might be missing from eating broccoli in vegetable form.

Not bad for powdered broccoli and microgreens
As far as powdered broccoli and microgreens go this is not too bad. It is good for mixing into smoothies and other things to help with nutrition.
