I like that this supplement uses natural Antarctic wild‑caught fish along with organic flaxseed oil, borage oil, and vitamin E. It’s made in the USA and is third‑party tested, which gives me more confidence in the quality.The capsules are large oil‑filled gels, but they’re still easy to swallow. They don’t smell overly fishy, and I didn’t get any fish burps. The light vanilla flavor is subtle, but it’s enough to cover the fishy smell and taste. It also came double‑sealed, which is always reassuring and appreciated.

My husband takes daily vitamins that are made for men and packaged together so that they are designed to take one packet every day. However, his packets do not come with a fish oil supplement. I got this supplement for him because it has all three omega fatty acids included. He has been taking it and he has confirmed that it is indeed burpless, and there are no fishy burps or aftertaste later. In fact, they have a vanilla flavor which probably helps mask the fishiness. They are soft gels that are very easy to take. He seems to have more energy lately since he has been taking them. The ingredients are clean, the fish is all wild-caught which is very important to me, and it’s also non-GMO. He hasn’t experienced any side effects since taking this supplement. I am really impressed with the ingredient list and how high-quality it is.

I opted to try this supplement for several reasons. Firstly, the statement that the fish oil is from natural Antarctic wild caught fish and secondly that it’s manufactured by a US company.I know there is sustainability concerns with fishing, and this product does not speak to the manner in which the fish are caught. Nor does the label clarify whether the rest of the ingredients are globally sourced or not. I would also prefer to know where the supplement is manufactured.The label speaks of third-party testing but not specifically what is tested, which I’d like to know on the label.The pills themselves are quite large. I was able to swallow them but I prefer smaller soft-gel capsules.I did not have any “fish burps” with taking these with a meal.Overall I get the impression this supplement is a good one but I can’t attest to efficacy and specific health benefits I have experienced presently from the supplement.

This is a great quality Fish Oil supplement made from Wild Caught Antarctic Fish Oil combined with Organic Flax Seed Oil. It contains a blend of Omega 3-6-9 including EPA, DHA, DPA, GLA and ALA, which makes the formula more complete compared to standard fish oil products. It also contains Borage oil and Vitamin EThe capsules are big in size as most Fish oil are, but I did not find it difficult to swallow with water. One important thing I noticed is that there is no typical fishy smell or unpleasant after taste, which is very common with many fish oil supplements. It also has a light vanilla flavor that makes it more pleasant to take on a daily basis.I have been using this supplement for few days and found it gentle on the stomach without any discomfort or any other side effects. Overall, considering the ingredient quality, clean taste, and combination of oils, this product feels like a good value.

Two things I always check when I’m trying a new product that goes in or on my body are the country of origin and the expiration date. The expiration date for this bottle of Catalina Naturals Wild Caught Antarctic Fish Oil with Organic Flax Seed Oil is clearly printed on the bottle and is good for another 16 months, and it’s made in the USA.The bottle cap is sealed with a plastic collar, and the top of the bottle is protected with a tamper-resistant seal. There is also a small moisture-absorbing pouch inside the bottle, which suggests that care was taken to help maintain the quality of the product.The capsules are described as burpless soft gels, and so far that has proven true for me. I didn’t notice any taste when taking them, even though there is a faint, almost sweet odor when opening the bottle. I also haven’t experienced any stomach issues.I’ve been taking two capsules in the morning with breakfast and have had no problems incorporating them into my routine.
