This super greens powder is a really convenient way to get a mix of vegetables and plant nutrients into your day without having to prep a bunch of fresh ingredients. The blend includes things like barley grass, broccoli, spirulina, wheat grass, green tea, and alfalfa along with extras like inulin fiber and ginger root for digestive support. It mixes fairly easily into water or smoothies and, while it still has that typical “greens” flavor, it is much less earthy and overpowering than many other greens powders I’ve tried in the past. That’s honestly a huge plus because I’m actually able to drink it consistently without resistance or gagging.Nowadays it can be difficult to get the amount of greens and plant variety your body really needs every day, so having something quick and easy like this can definitely help fill in the gaps. This feels more like a steady daily wellness supplement for digestion, balance, and overall nutrition support rather than something with dramatic immediate effects. The added fiber and prebiotic ingredients may also be beneficial for gut health, although people with sensitive stomachs may want to start slowly while adjusting to the inulin and greens blend.The powder is lightweight, easy to scoop, and simple to work into a morning routine or smoothie. One downside for me is that the ingredient list feels a little vague and I would have liked more transparency about where the ingredients are sourced and how they are processed. I read the ingredients on the label of this product and I’m very pleased with it. It has four different blends:1. Green (barley grass powder, broccoli powder spirulina, etc)2. Red (beet root powder, hibiscus powder, strawberry juice powder)3. Metabolic support (cinnamon bark, turmeric extract, etc)4. Digestive support (inulin, ginger, etc)This is a powerful blend of antioxidants and health beneficial ingredients. And, to top it off, it is lightly sweetened with stevia extract, a healthy alternative to sugar. It does smell a little “grassy/earthy.” The taste is okay, not as bad as some people claim, but of course, this is subjective. Thing is, if you have taken, say, wheatgrass supplements, ginseng, or hibiscus tea, and you’re okay with the taste, then this drink is like that except more of it. But if you don’t like the taste, just mix it with a sweet drink (i.e., mango/apricot juice), and it becomes more tolerable. Personally, I don’t mind the taste at all. I don’t love it but I don’t hate it, and it doesn’t bother me. But you do have to mix it well, as it can clump up a little bit if not thoroughly mixed. But use a personal blender if you can.I have been taking this supplement on and off over the past couple months. I honestly cannot tell you if I feel more energetic because of it. However, I do take other supplements and watch my diet, so it’s hard to pinpoint what is giving me a boost of energy on any given day. I do believe everything has a positive synergistic effect.If you’re sitting on the fence about taking the supplement, I suggest you give it a shot if you’re looking for a health beneficial drink mix, give this a try as long as you don’t have an aversion to grass/greens or herbally bitter taste. I will admit that I do not eat nearly as much greens as I should. However, that is where this Super Green Powder with Inulin and Ginger Root from TRCELAB comes in. It mixes well and tastes pretty good in my smoothies, with its peach flavor. I’m not sure how it tastes on its own, but I definitely know that mixed with other ingredients, and even in my tea at times that it is really good. It is really effective in supporting digestion health as well as providing a noticeable boost in energy in the mornings. It is 100% plant based, with all organic ingredients and no artificial additives. It comes in a 4.44 oz container and provides 30 servings for only $18, making it a really good value.

Good quality if you don’t mind the taste

This blend of super supplements is great for your health and packed full of nutrients. It comes in a little bottle about the size of a big coffee mug and is a powder with so many greens and fruit/vegetable powders. It does not dissolve super easily in water, so we tried it using a hand blender, a shaker, hot drinks, and cold. What we found worked best is using a shaker a little longer than you would think to and to clearer liquid is best so you can see if it has incorporated or is just sitting at the bottom of the drink. The scent was not much, but the taste is rough. It is very grassy and a little bitter. We were not expecting this because it said there were all these yummy things in there (hibisus, strawberry, cranberry, blueberry) but none of those came through over the overwhelming taste of grass plus sprouts. I thought if I have a stronger drink, it might mask it. We tried hot coffee, fruit juices, milks, and plain water (as suggested by the manufacturer on the package) and they helped get it down, but it was not enjoyable. Because of the taste, we really haven’t come back to it which I think is the main problem with this product. The best way is take this is to shake it really well, then shoot it down as quickly as you can, and follow with a chaser (non carbonated or you’ll taste it a second time). Overall a great product, but if it is difficult to use, it ends up being just ok.
