I’m DREAMING again ! A LOT ! Mood is becoming brighter .
I have been feeling very depressed & irritable for the last three months . I haven’t been exactly a happy person for quite a while now . I suffer from severe social anxiety and mild depression. I looked into trying 5-htp to boost my seretonin levels. I originally tried a different brand that required I take to two pills for each dose morning and night. That brand helped but occasionally I’d feel the need to take an additional dose midday. Then I found the toniq brand which only required one pill for each dose. I figured that would be handy so I could just carry one pill with me during the day for that just in case dose. Long story short I’ve had less anxiety and my mood has improved yet I’ve had less of a need to take a dose midday. I usually forget about the midday dose now. Also on a side note I’ve been able to fall asleep in literally minutes when I lay down in bed at the end of the day.

I honestly thought chemicals were chemicals. 5-HTP has been a help to both my mood and sleep, so I would just order whatever looked like a good deal on Amazon. This came recommended, and I read the reviews- and ordered it, decided to spend a few more dollars. And BOY, was it worth it! You can feel this one becoming effective about 30-40 minutes after taking it at bedtime, to the point of nodding. I have Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder, so that’s no easy task. I fall asleep within a couple of minutes, and sleep heavily with GREAT dreams for the next 7 or 8 hours. Easier to get up in the morning, too, no grogginess like with melatonin. My mood and anxiety are much improved, which makes me so happy. Folks, there IS a difference. This brand really works!

Helps with depression
Suffering from depression, I was looking for something, anything to help. I started taking a lesser dosage from another brand, but wanted to up it so I found yours ok n Amazon and thought I’d try it. It has really helped me I am coming out of the depression which lasted over a year. I havent had a bad day in almost a month. I take one at night around 6-7pm and this 5htp also helps me to sleep. I take one of your 5htp pills ,and a multi b vitamin as vitamin b6 is supposed to help the 5htp produce serotonin in the brain, of which I was lacking for a long time. I think it also helps make melatonin at night which is why I’m sleeping again. If you’ve never experienced clinical.depression, it is horrible, and hard to explain. Your product I believe has helped me get on the other side of it. Thank you, and I would recommend it to anyone suffering with depression. My shrink tried prescribing medication, but I had negative reactions to it and couldn’t take them. I learned about 5HTP from my man just over a month ago. I recently started a high-stress job and have become sober from years of binge drinking, which led to continuous sleepless nights, fatigue and anxiety. Surprisingly effective for weight loss
I have a long term sleep disorder exacerbated by shift work. I’ve been on various sleep aides like melatonin, every brand of OTC sleep supplements, and Ambien dependency for the last 10 years. I had tried 5HTP years ago without success. I decided to try it again, only this time I did better due diligence on brand, purity and dosage. So I’ve been taking this for a couple of weeks now. I take one 200 mg dose before bed. I can’t say it has cured my insomnia, although I sleep about 3 hours straight now before I wake up. I also fall back to sleep quicker, like 20 minutes instead of 2 hours. BUT… it has has eliminated my nocturnal eating habit, where I would wake up and binge eat on cookies, bread, or anything with sugar, causing rapid weight gain. . I’VE LOST ALMOST 8 LBS IN 2 WEEKS! I’m much less hungry during the day, and not craving empty carbs. This was an unexpected yet welcome effect of the 5 HTP.Now here is the down side. There is a brief episode of nausea about 20 minutes after I take my dose. The first few days I also had some gut cramping.but that has disappeared. So my overall impression of this product is favorable. I hope it continues to work for me.

Mind over Stomach Pain
When I first started using this product I would get headaches. I stopped then began again and the headaches stopped. I was feeling rejuvenated. It was great so I continued. I’m also diabetic with high blood pressure. Continuing to take this supplement I noticed I started getting horrible stomach pain, diarrhea and some bouts of vomiting. I thought maybe my metformin was changed. I continued still not knowing anything. It reached its peak. I reviewed all my meds and none of them required me to eat prior to taking them. I mean I do take my evening meds, but I took this product in the morning. This product doesn’t come with a list of potential side effects like my prescriptions do. I looked at the rave reviews and decided to look at the low ones. That’s where I read people’s same side effects I was having for almost a month. It got soo bad I stopped drinking coffee because I thought maybe the acidity was causing my issue. I immediately stopped taking these and about a day and a half the pain had subsided. I give this product 3 stars because at one point it did work, but it came with awful side effects. For those who have stomachs like goats you’re not effected. I was so I would say like a reviewer before me said, if you have a sensitive stomach I would avoid this product.
