High CFU single strain probiotic
I usually take probiotics with a fairly large mixture of strains because it just makes sense to me to colonize your gut with a variety of bugs, since that’s how we’re made naturally, not with just one single strain. However, this looked interesting to me, so I decided to alternate it with another single strain probiotic to see how it goes. I was particularly interested when I read that this one is supposed to occur naturally in the gut.What bothers me, though, is that on the product details page they definitely make all kinds of claims about it being manufactured in a GMP facility, third-party tested, etc; which I consider to be very important for any supplements that I would take. So it strikes me as very odd that none of that whatsoever is printed on this very large jar style container. I am sorry to say that I have seen too many situations where all kinds of claims are made on the product details page, but no evidence is shown on the actual container, and that is kind of suspicious. Usually products that are actually manufactured in a GMP facility show that stamp on the container, and the same for third-party testing. This container is attractive, but shows no evidence for any of this. For that reason I am knocking off a couple of stars.That being said, I have not experienced any digestive upset or difficulties when taking this, but at the same time, I suppose I can’t really know for sure that it’s actually doing me a lot of good either. I do like that it also has some Prebiotic to feed the probiotic, and that it’s time released, so the bugs have a much better chance of actually getting where they’re supposed to go.For a month’s supply the price is not unreasonable, although it’s not really any tremendous bargain either. It is supposed to be higher potency than most comparable probiotics, so perhaps that does make it a little bit better of a deal, that is assuming it actually is what it says it is — as I said before, without any certification evident on the packaging assuring quality and regulation it’s hard to know for sure if this really is what it claims to be.

The capsules are a bit on the larger side
I’ve been using Toniiq Lactobacillus Rhamnosus for a little while and overall I think it’s a solid probiotic option. I like that it’s high strength at 100B CFU and includes prebiotic FOS, plus the delayed release capsules are a nice touch. The capsules are a bit on the larger side, but still manageable to swallow. It’s hard to judge probiotics immediately, but I haven’t had any negative reactions and it feels like a well-made product. The bottle is straightforward and I appreciate that it’s third-party tested. So far, it seems like a reliable choice if you’re looking for a higher potency probiotic.
