Thermera capsules
I wanted to give these capsules a try to see if they could help curb some cravings and potentially support some weight loss. When I first opened the bottle, I noticed some powder on the capsules. The powder tasted quite bitter, which made me think that maybe one capsule had broken or had a small crack. I didn’t investigate further, but it was something I noticed right away.I started with the lower dosage of two capsules. They do contain caffeine, but since I drink coffee every day, I simply reduced my coffee intake while taking them.Unfortunately, they didn’t sit well with me. Shortly after taking the first dose, I felt like I had an upset stomach for most of the day. I didn’t take any more that day, thinking maybe my body just needed some time to adjust. The next day I tried again with two capsules, but I had the same upset stomach feeling and also started to feel a bit nauseated.At that point I decided to stop taking them. I may just be sensitive to some of the ingredients, as I do have a fairly sensitive stomach. It might work better for others, but unfortunately it didn’t agree with me. As with any supplement, I would recommend doing a bit of research and considering your own tolerance to the ingredients before trying it.

Thermera XR® from Anabolic Warfare – Thermogenic Body Composition Supplement– 160 Capsules*These seem to do a decent job curbing afternoon hunger — I’ve been having my morning coffee and then trying to recommended dose of two capsules around lunch time, and it helps keep hunger manageable through the rest of the afternoon. My hesitation is with the price. The listed $64.99 feels padded specifically so the current “sale” price of $48.74 looks like a deal. It’s a common move and I don’t love it. At the discounted price it’s more palatable, but I haven’t fully decided if the results warrant even that.

Solid Workout Fuel, But Simply Not Built for My Sensitive System
If you are an experienced athlete looking for an all-in-one metabolic sculpting agent to push your cutting parameters to the absolute limit, this advanced formulation is packed with quality ingredients. For my specific metabolism, however, it proved to be a bit much. The MitoBurn and T2 components provide a very distinct, long-lasting energy boost that sustains you out of the gym, but it keeps my resting metabolic expenditure pacing a bit too high throughout the late evening. I am giving it a middle-of-the-road 3 stars because it genuinely lives up to its fat-burning promises, but the intense systemic shift just isn’t something I can tolerate comfortably on a daily basis.

I’ve been enjoying Thermera XR so far. I like that it helps support my body composition goals while also giving me smooth, steady energy and better focus throughout the day. I did not experience the jittery feeling or hard crash that I’ve had with some other thermogenic supplements.The capsules are easy to take, and I appreciate that it can fit into my routine whether I’m trying to cut or simply maintain my progress. At least some appetite suppressant effects and boost of energy
I tend to be a skeptic going into trying supplements, but I decided to give these a try because the ingredients did seem to have at least some studies supporting their potential effectiveness for the benefits claimed by the makers of Thermera XR. Overall, it’s been a fine experience with more pros than cons.Pros:- appetite control: I did feel like there were at least some effects as an appetite suppressant and I felt less desire to snack mindlessly after taking these. That could be a placebo effect, but I did feel like I noticed at least a moderate effect here.- energy: the pills have caffeine so there’s a stimulant effect to them and I noticed a little boost to focus and energy when taken in conjunction with my adhd medication in particular.- no nausea: one side effect I was worried about with these was nausea as a side effect, but I didn’t experience that (I’ve stuck to the recommended starting dose of two pills, but the bottle does say you can increase that).Cons:- heat effects: they do, as advertised, increase body heat and that was noticeable during work outs. It probably did make the work out more effective, and it wasn’t overtly uncomfortable, but the elevated body heat was noticeable and a weird sensation that I can’t say I was a fan of.- cost: the price tag on these is steep and a turn off for future use for sure.Overall, these were easy to take and at least somewhat effective, but the effects weren’t so pronounced that I would necessarily buy another bottle myself.

More than just caffeine.
I really didn’t expect much. The vast majority of the effect of these thermogenic supplements is from caffeine. You can buy a huge bottle of 200mg caffeine pills for a fraction of the price of these, so I was very skeptical.I can attest that these definitely have action beyond caffeine. I started as advised with only two pills. There are only 75mg of caffeine in two pills. That is like a single cup of coffee. I often drink two double shots of espresso and take a 200mg caffeine pill in a day. This still was powerful stimulant and appetitie suppressing effect off of only two pills, so something else was definitely functioning well.Like many supplements, there are many compounds in this that lack sufficient rigorous research to definitively declare them strong evidence for efficacy. I do have degrees in biology, chemistry, and medicine, and I went to PubMed to research each ingredient included, and I was impressed to find at least suggestive or weak evidence on pretty much every ingredient in this. I found no conpletely bogus pseudoscience, and I respect that.Some of the compounds have a stimulant effect that gives you energy to exercise and suppress appetite. Some of the compounds have insulin regulation mechanisms. One of the ingredients even purports to convert less metabolically active white fat to more metabolically active brown fat.The company, Anabolic Warfare, seems to be based out of Austin, TX, and they seem to offer multiple other subrands under their conglomerate.I’ve only been taking them for a few days, so I can’t attest to long term weight loss, but caloric restriction is far more important than any thermogenic effect these may have. I can certainly say it is great at limiting appetite.The cost is expensive. There are 160 pills with a serving size of four to six per day. That is 40 days worth for $65 at the time of thos writing. Part of this is due to a patented and licensed ingredient, and the fact that this seems to be a US company carrying out cGMP standards. If it helps you to reach your goal or reduce morbidity due to obesity, I think it could still be a great deal.At this point, I may buy again. I traditionally have just used caffeine pills, but there is more here than that. Start slow with two capsules as advised. I am a 230lbs. man with a decent caffeine tolerance, and I still feel these.For now, I am giving the benefit of the doubt while remaining skeptical. I’d love to see a randomized controlled trial of this versus 200mg caffeine pills. Five stars.

I picked this up to try out a thermogenic supplement, and it definitely delivers on one thing—you’ll feel it. There’s a noticeable warming effect after taking it, especially during activity, so from a “does it do anything?” standpoint, it’s not just a placebo.That said, it’s not without some issues. The biggest downside for me was opening the bottle and finding multiple capsules already cracked, with powder spread throughout. That’s not exactly confidence-inspiring, especially at this price point.
