Weird little wet snack

I am honestly not sure what to think about this jelly stick supplement. It is a wet and weird fruit snack with chia seeds and other ingredients that are supposed to be good for your digestion. They taste pretty good, have a nice chew to them and the suggested serving is for one per day. What are they supposed to do for me? I have no idea but it is a nice little, albeit expensive, snack to have whilst sitting at my desk working.

he individual sticks are convenient and easy to take with me. The pomegranate flavor is pleasant, and the jelly texture makes them simple to eat without mixing anything. I have noticed they help support my digestion and keep me feeling more regular. They also give me a nice little boost during the day without feeling heavy. Each serving is already portioned out, which makes them easy to use, and the overall effectiveness and convenience make them a good value for the money.

I’ve been trying these Ponlu Jelly Stick supplements (10-pack) as a portable fiber and digestive support snack. Each stick contains pomegranate, garcinia cambogia, konjac fiber, prebiotic fiber, and chia seeds in a soft jelly form instead of a capsule or powder.The texture is similar to a fruit jelly pouch and the pomegranate flavor is mildly sweet without tasting artificial. The konjac fiber and chia give it some thickness, and I noticed it was more filling than expected for such a small packet. I’ve been taking 1/2 packet each morning to see how I feel. I like the taste, and so far I feel fine with no side effects.Ingredient-wise, the konjac fiber and prebiotic fiber are there for digestion and fullness support, while chia seeds add additional fiber. Garcinia cambogia is commonly included in appetite-control supplements, though I wouldn’t expect dramatic weight loss effects from a product like this alone.These packets are convenient for travel or tossing in a bag, especially for a lighter alternative to fiber powders. I like these!

Reduces hunger but very sweet.

I would normally give these jelly stick supplements 4 stars. However, the ones I received had a serious defect so I am rating it 3 stars. This is a set of supplements that might be best used in conjunction with a diet or a cleanse. The product worked primarily to reduce hunger.These are marketed as supplements but they don’t seem to have many vitamins according to the label. The active ingredient is Garcinia Combogia extract, which affects carbohydrate metabolism. Each snack has 11% of the recommended daily dose of fiber. The fiber seems to come from chia seeds and various fruit pastes. “Prebiotics” is mostly just a fancy name for the insoluble fiber found in fruits like apples.It is recommended to have a supplement 30 minutes before a meal. The fiber does indeed create a feeling of fullness and reduces hunger. The basic gist of the product, hunger cessation and carbohydrate metabolism, seems best suited to a dieting plan or general calorie reduction.For me, this product wasn’t totally successful. It might work for someone who just wants an occasional sweet snack and would prefer this as an alternative to a candy bar. These treats are very sweet so they triggered my sweet tooth and just made me want more sugar.At 80 calories each these are not low calorie. An apple has about 80 calories. An apple has insoluble fiber and prebiotics as well as being a natural food with vitamin C, antioxidants and micronutrients. An apple has its own portable wrapper which, unlike this foil packet, is biodegradable.In the end I felt like I would have been better off just eating a piece of fruit and drinking a glass of water. Because these supplements are so sweet, and the sweetness is amped up with zylitol, they just triggered more sugar cravings for me. These might work for others who respond to sugar differently.These are vegetarian but not vegan. They contain honey but they are fortunately free of the marine collagen found in similar supplements.The pomegranate taste was good. Pomegranates are hard to find in my city and difficult to peel so I might repurchase these if I had a craving for pomegranate. The jelly texture was ok, but a little gummy, and they also have sweet pomegranate juice in the packet.I am deducting a star because the package I received had been covered in sticky liquid which might have leaked from a punctured packet. All the supplements inside seemed intact. The bottom was covered in a dark, reddish-brown stain shown in my pic. Most of the supplements were covered in a sticky, gooey coating and that reduced their portability because I couldn’t carry them in my purse. I tasted the residue and it seemed like pomegranate juice, possibly from another item.
