This is a powdered green juice supplement. But, there’s also a lot more. It contains barley grass and wheat grass, as well as parsley. And blue green algaes, spirulina and chlorella. It also has a range from apple fiber, bee pollen and sunflower lecithin, to probiotics, dulse and licorice. Other ingredients, like the bilberry and Siberian Ginseng are concentrated extracts. With the ginkgo extract, MegaNatural Gold grape seed extract, royal jelly, GreenSelect green tea and milk thistle extract all standardized. And, with good standardizations, so know I’m getting the compounds most responsible for their benefits.The other ingredients are chlorophyll for color, but also adding the benefits of chlorophyll. Stevia extract, Medium chain triglycerides, which will help the bioavailability of any fat soluble compounds, rice flour and tri-calcium phosphate, which provides both calcium and natural phosphorus.It’s a fine powder, so it mixes in. I usually sprinkle it in while mixing, to avoid clumps as much as possible. But, it still needs a little work to fully blend. A shaker bottle, wisk or frother does it more conveniently. It’s 9 oz., containing 31, one scoop servings. I like the taste, either mixed into things, or just mixed in water. I usually add a little stevia to green powders, and they taste good to me. This is no exception, except the stevia is already added. As a reliable and good tasting green drink, with a lot more. And, with quality ingredients, this is a good, super green plus choice.

Mixed Taste and Hard to Stick With
The powder mixes fairly well with water or juice, but the taste is pretty strong and grassy, which makes it hard to drink consistently. Even when blended, there’s still a noticeable earthy flavor that doesn’t really go away. Texture is a bit grainy if not fully mixed, so it works better in smoothies than plain water. The smell is also quite strong once you open the container.

Green Goodness for Many But Not All
As someone who’s used Swanson supplements for years because I consider them to be one of the more reliable supplement brands. So when I saw this Super Green Max Plus on my feed I knew I had to order this bucket of greens STAT. Executive dysfunction means I don’t always eat the way I should, so my hope was that this product would help me get more leafy greens and whole‑food ingredients into my diet. A scoop and drink type of supplement sounded perfect.The formula is chock full of excellent ingredients. It contains spirulina and chlorella for nutrient density, barley and wheat grass for general support, acerola cherry for vitamin C, grape seed extract for antioxidants, milk thistle, eleuthero, licorice root, and even bee pollen and royal jelly, and more.Some of the top ingredients come with caveats, though, and ginkgo biloba is one of them. Gingko is often used for circulation and cognitive support, but be aware that it comes with a warning to not use it with certain medications. I didn’t realize this product contained ginkgo until after it arrived, which is unfortunate as it’s one of those ingredient I have to be mindful of due to the medications I’m taking. Come to find out the powder also contains stevia, which my stomach does not tend to enjoy.If you’re able to tolerate the ingredients on this list, you should go for it. I think it’s a good price for a great brand you can trust.

This is a great way to get in your greens and extra vitamins, especially on those days when your diet isn’t quite as balanced as you’d like. It mixes well with water, but I especially enjoy adding it to my protein shakes for an extra nutritional boost.I also appreciate that it contains a blend of whole food ingredients along with added Vitamin E for additional wellness support. Awful smell and taste, didn’t dissolve very well, definitely needs improvement by the brand
This Swanson Super Green Max Plus Powder supplement is good quality and features a wide variety of healthful ingredients, but once you mix it into your water it emits an awful smell that is very unpleasant and makes it difficult to drink. The taste is also very harsh and unpalatable for me. The powder is simple and convenient to measure with the included scoop, but it doesn’t dissolve very well, leaving some clumps that need breaking up with the spoon. The container arrived properly sealed to ensure freshness and safety. While I like the quality and trustworthiness of the Swanson brand, this product has been a miss and major disappointment for me. I definitely would love for the brand to improve on the overall taste to make it more appealing and enjoyable to drink. As is, I cannot recommend this product and would not purchase again. Not worth the high cost.

So I wanted to wait a while to write this review and actually get a few weeks of using this product.I have used green powder for years, after juicing myself at home. The benefits are phenomenal and I’m just a big fan. Not all green powders are the same, so definitely do your research h and know what you’re looking for.I used a different brand for a long time that I think gains a lot of attention quickly. Originally I bought it online then box discount stores. I wasn’t ever peaking at what I expect from their listed ingredients.When I tried this I was fighting the flu and didn’t have much of an appetite. Right off the bat I notice that it gave me what juicing from fresh had given me, focus, clarity, energy and overall a feeling of wellbeing. That was during battling the flu.I have an autoimmune disease so I will take longer to heal but taking this has been a great daily support. Let’s face it, no green powder taste wonderful. If it did, it wouldn’t have the things your body needs in it.This has a higher percentage of vitamins and nutrients in it, all the good stuff that supersedes that other stuff I was taking by leaps and bounds. No wonder, I wasn’t feeling anything on the other one.I mix this with a little chocolate syrup or cacao for a more natural approach and it’s perfect. It makes a huge difference in my daily routine.Highly recommended.

This is one of the best super greens I have tried
This greens powder has a really solid ingredient list. It also a lot of good extras like bee pollen, milk thistle, probiotics, and a mix of greens and antioxidant ingredients. I also like that it is only 20 calories per serving. The scoop is a good size too. You do not have to dump in a ton of powder, so it does not get chalky or overly thick.I mixed it with cold white grape juice and it went down with no problem at all. It blended smooth and I was able to drink it fast.I have used other super greens in the past. Some were ok A lot of them I could not even get through either because of taste or texture or both. This one was much easier for me and I am able to drink it right down and I did not have any trouble finishing it.The ingredients were definitely well thought out and are also well balanced I would absolutely recommend, especially if you’re someone that has trouble drinking super green mixes because of flavor or consistency.
