Curcumin/fenugreek complex supplement
My Dr. recommended this supplement for controlling blood sugar and general health. I have only taken it for several weeks and I do not see that it has had any effect. However, she said it takes quite awhile to do that. Also I have gotten quite stricter on what I eat, so even if there is a change, it could be also from that. Therefore, I cannot give you a “thumbs up” for this product. I will continue to use it, however.

I see no difference from the other brand that mixes it with Fenugreek. Fenugreek allows the Curcumin to get past the blood brain barrier – so the research says – and significantly increases Curcumin’s bioavailability. Works for me.

I have both Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis. Swanson’s CurQfen is pretty much the best product out there for arthritis, as far as I’m concerned. And research shows that it works better than Theracurmin and other top brands in terms of curcumin bioavailability. I take two or three capsules a day and have no stomach issues whatsoever with this product. If it tends to bother your stomach, which it shouldn’t, just take it with a lot of food and water. Another plus is that it delivers whole curcumin internally… not just curcumin fragments or metabolites of curcumin. And you get a lot of potent curcumin in this product! Another plus is that it does not contain Bioperine like a lot of other curcumin formulas do; Bioperine tends to cause Leaky Gut Syndrome (which exacerbates arthritis)! I love that this stuff is in a time-released form.Highly recommended! 🙂

More potent than Longvida! Amazing formula
I noticed a decrease in my injured knee pain within the first day of use(2 capsules). After a few days I had faster and sharper memory recall. As more time has gone by, I have been getting recollections of old memories I never knew I still had from when I was a teenager and younger. I did not notice any side-effects. Also, I have used Longvida before a lot, and this seems way more potent in cognitive effects and joint pain relief. I could feel CurQfen’s mental effects after the very first dose. This formula is 100% effective. I have replaced myLongvida with CurQfen now and haven’t looked back.Update: I just wanted to give an update after being on this for 60 days. No stomach issues at all with this. However, I always take a probiotic daily to reduce any potential issues. Also, try not to take this right before bed, because whenever I do, i get intense more vivid/realistic dreams. No control really over whether they are good or bad dreams, just that they can be more intense. One thing I have learned taking CurQfen over Longvida, is that this has stronger cognitive effects that are felt over Longvida. However, Longvida absorbs straight into the Lymphatic system before it enters the brain, while CurQfen goes through the liver. This is where the special FenuMAT Fenugreek seed extract that surrounds the Curcumin extract to protect it from liver first pass metabolism. This is what allows CurQfen to have such high Free Active Curcumin Levels available to the brain. Before I said this replaces Longvida, but I believe they pair well together and work synergistically in union to really boost Brain benefits across the entire cognitive spectrum. Love CurQfen, because it’s so potent, you get pain relief to the body as well. Thanks.

Beware the Fenugreek!
My sister and I started taking Swanson’s Curcumin/Fenugreek Complex because she had read a study that indicated Fenugreek increased the bioavailabiliy of the curcumin. My sister stopped taking it because it gave her heartburn. I had to stop taking it because of its laxative effect on me. Stupidly, it took me two months to figure this out! Only recently did I learn that Fenugreek is known and used for its laxative effect.
