These caplets contain great ingredients that are very important to people who are over 45 years old, asthey need more calcium and vitamin D3 to maintain healthy bones. The cap of the bottle is made foreasy opening without having to twist around. Each caplet contains 20 mcg vitamin D3 and 600mgcalcium, plus magnesium and other ingredients. It has 30 days’ supply if I take two daily as suggested. Ithas neither odd taste nor adverse effect if I take it with meals. It’s better not to take it with an emptystomach though, as it can make me want to throw up. It would be ideal if it has no colors which are notso necessary, as it’s always better to take only whatever necessary especially for medicine, but it’s not amajor issue to take a star off.

This “Vitamin “ has red dye 40 yellow dye 6 and blue dye 1 . Don’t buy it Don’t consume it. It’s full of toxic chemicals. Won’t ever buy another product by Sundance again.

Product: Calcium 600mg with D3 | 60 Caplets | Vegetarian, Non-GMO, and Gluten Free Supplement | by SundanceThese are your basic calcium carbonate with D3. I always get my calcium with D3 for better absorption. These are calcium carbonate (vs citrate), so they should be taken with food. That’s important for absorption and not to potentially cause stomach/kidney issues. I usually get carbonate over citrate since you can take less, and the other person in the house who takes calcium has trouble swallowing bigger pills. The carbonate pills tend to be easier for her to swallow. The other bottle of calcium by a major brand has the same amount of calcium and D3, but those pills were more expensive. While both pills are about the same size, these are slightly thinner and more rounded on the end. It makes this calcium a bit easier for her to swallow. These pills are also scored for halving if necessary for easier swallowing.My bottle came sealed. The lid is not child proofed, It is easy to open. The expiration date on my bottle was good for over two years.The only minor issue I have is that these contain several extra ingredients, like the food color dyes. I didn’t realize that when I got these. It’s just ingredients I don’t feel are necessary.

Good vitamin to supplement a couple nutrients you may not get normally. I have an issue with vitamins and pills that have a strong odor in the bottle. This one has no odor at all which is great. I am a light complected person so I do worry about getting enough D3 since I normally hide from the sun at all costs. I also have replaced some of my normal dairy with almond beverage so extra calcium is good for me too.The pills are a little large as you can see in the picture I posted along with a quarter for scale. If you have a hard time taking larger pills, you may need to break it up and take it in sections.
