A potent immune blend from one of the most reliable companies out there
So I’ve previously reviewed the Sun Chlorella packets and I noticed that one of the reviews for this item quite generously “borrowed” from my previous review to write their review for this product. Nonetheless, what was true then is true now: Sun Chlorella makes the cleanest chlorella on the market. I will not repeat myself since I’ve already been repeated, but just know that you are getting the most bioavailabilty possible for a supplement of this kind and that the challenge in guaranteeing level of purity in an increasingly contaminated ocean is one of the reasons for the higher price.Chlorella has a ton of benefits, including being one of the more bioavilable forms of B12 and D for those with deficiencies. Since I take them daily (I continue to prefer the tablets to the powder just for ease of intake), I was really interested to see this new product, which combines their chlorella with three other heavy-hitting immunity boosters. I’m quite familiar with Reishi mushrooms and propolis but had never heard of Agaricus so I did a deep-dive into the benefits and risks of this particular mushroom.Before I get into that, though, the first thing to reiterate here (and again, I’ve already been “quoted” below): chlorella works by chelating heavy metals and other toxins as well as by providing a wide array of nutrients itself. So it CAN cause some mild side effects when you first start using it if you’ve got any sort of heavy metal build up in your body. This usually takes the form of mild headaches or an off stomach, though the other ingredients in this are actually beneficial in ameliorating that. Still, I advise staritng super slow and seeing how you react.Each of these packets has 12 pills, which can be taken all at once or divided into mini doses; I’d always recommend starting with a single tablet first for at least a week to see how it goes. This is even more true due to the propolis, as a small percentage of people are allergic. This usually manifests as things like mouth sores, rash, lip swelling, hives, etc. I have eczema and can react poorly to bee pollen, but propolis is not only fine for me, but beneficial. Bee products are kind of a weird thing because you can be allergic to one of them but not all of them. Still, since propolis is a known allergen, it is always wise to proceed with caution.As to the Agaricus, I’d say caution is also advised. While it can potentially be used to boost the immune system, combat tumor growth, reduce inflammation, lower cholesterol, and manage type II diabetes (it helps lower blood sugar), more research is needed. From my research, some of the possible side effects include gastrointestinal distress, lowered blood sugar (a bad thing for some), and potential liver toxicity (especially for people on chemotherapy). Because it can interfere with medications, this supplement is definitely one to check with your doctor AND pharmacist about to make sure you aren’t risking any interactions. You also need to stop taking this at least two weeks before surgery.While there is some evidence you can safely take this for up to 12 months, for me, I look at this as intense immune support rather than a daily supplement. Taking it in short bursts lowers the risk of livery toxicity while still providing ample benefit. For me, I look at it as a bigger weapon is a larger arsenal; it’s there for certain times and situations, but you don’t really need it til you need it. Regardless of how you plan to take it, I’d advise anyone considering taking it to research carefully before starting so you know what potential pitfalls to look out for.That said, if you are looking for what this offers, this company is one of the most trustworthy on the market in my opinion. More and more of the gold standard supplement brands are being bought out by multinationals and the quality is steadily tanking. It’s getting harder and harder to find brands you can still trust.However, because it is imported from Japan, the price is currently quite high in February 2026. I would presume that political tensions are a factor and the price may (or may not) come down as the political landscape changes. However, these are also premium immune ingredients, so I would expect the price to reflect that to an extent.For certain people, this supplement will be worth it’s premium price. For others the basic chlorella should suffice for daily immune support. Again, do your research very carefully when deciding what to put into you body, and TAKE NOTES to see the impacts for you personally. Not everyone’s body reacts the same to every substance.PS: NEVER outsource your health to reviews. Health is wealth and you should always carefully consider anything before consuming. High quality, but…
This is a high quality mushroom & immune formula with good ingredients. The ingredient profile and dosing is actually excellent. Each packet gives 1232 mg agaricus blazei, 370 mg chlorella extract, 264 mg reishi extract, and 48 mg propolis, so at least the dosing is fully disclosed. On paper that is a legitimate immune-support stack, and I do like that the agaricus dose is meaningfully high.From a formulation standpoint, this is fine though it hasn’t been clinically studied for immune function. The bigger issue is the value. Even with the high quality ingredients and coming from the reputable Sun Chlorella brand, it’s just not a good value and none of the ingredients here are so potent or unique that the premium feels justified.The brand credibility does help. Sun Chlorella has a great reputation and I like that it’s manufactured in Japan, but to me it’s just not the best choice for this type of supplement. Personally, I would rather buy separate agaricus, reishi, and chlorella products with similar dosing and quality for far less money.

this is definitely a good chlorella option. Love that it also includes reishi, because i also do love adding mushrooms to my day. i feel like my energy levels stay more consistent throughout the day when i’m taking this regularly. it’s an easy way to get a lot of nutrients in one go.

This supplement has a lot of good stuff going on in it, which I really like. It feels like one of those all in one blends you take to cover your bases or even the diets been slacking. This was easy enough to take and I didn’t notice any weird aftertaste. It’s not something where you feel an instant difference, but over time it just makes me feel a little more balanced and supported, especially during busy or stressful weeks where I dont eat well. I do feel like it helps keep me from getting sick too. If you’re already looking into trying adaptogens and mushroom blends, this is a good option.

This seems to be a high quality product, but I struggle to see the value proposition at the current price of $327.25. That is over $10 per serving. Most prescriptions, peptides, and PEDs cost less per month so this needs to really produce some amazing results to not just be niche luxury for the wealthy. I got this mainly for the purported benefits of Chlorella Growth Factor for growth and recovery since I train daily. It seems that they market this more for a heavy metal detox sort of role. On their website they say that you will notice this cleaning out your bowels, which I did notice for sure. Maybe this is doing my health some good in a lowkey way.The packets are easy to open, the little dots smell nice and almost taste like a sort of candy in the mouth. They seem to agree with my stomach when taken with food. Would I get this again if I had to pay for it at this price? No, it’s more than my entire supplement budget. Maybe you will feel differently if you have deep pockets.
