    Not a Good Fit Due to Capsule Size and Stomach Discomfort

    I have pain in both knees and have been reading about the potential benefits of curcumin in supporting joint health. It is a supplement I’ve wanted to try for a while. I ordered the “Turmeric Curcumin Complex Supplement – with Black Pepper – 60 Softgels” by Stop Aging Now because the listing claims it’s packaged in the USA at an FDA registered facility that follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Those claims made me feel more comfortable trying the brand. I ordered the supplement in Jan 2026. When the bottle arrived, it was labeled with an expiration date of April 2028, but I couldn’t find a manufacturing date. The bottle arrived well sealed with both a plastic outer wrap and a foil inner seal.Stop Aging Now has a well-developed website, though it contains a limited amount of consumer-facing information. They include a lengthy narrative under their customer care tab describing their manufacturing process. I checked their name on the NSF supplement website, which tracks GMP certification, and didn’t find Stop Aging Now listed. I searched the site to find who actually manufactures their supplements but I couldn’t find another manufacturer listed.The instructions are straightforward: take two softgels daily with a meal. I wouldn’t describe these as “softgels.” At room temperature, they’re quite hard, and I can’t easily squeeze them. In addition to being hard, they’re very large and have a fairly strong scent. They’re probably among the largest supplements I’ve ever tried to swallow. The aroma is clearly turmeric and not unpleasant, but it was unexpected given how firm the capsule is.I decided to try the capsule despite my concerns. I had a hard time swallowing it because of its size. I’ve taken a combination of supplements every morning for decades and can usually easily swallow several capsules or tablets at once. Even taking this one on its own, I struggled to get it down. Because of this, I decided to take only one capsule instead of the recommended two. About an hour later, my stomach started to feel unsettled and I noticed increased burping and mild nausea.Ultimately, I decided this supplement is not a good fit for me. I struggled to swallow the capsule. At the time of my order, a 30-day supply cost $46. This will not be a reorder for me.

    Great Curcumin Mixture

    I decided to try this Curcumin Supplement because I have heard good things about curcumin’s anti-inflammatory properties and wanted to see how it compared to other turmeric supplements I have used in the past. I have been dealing with some general inflammation, particularly stiffness in my back and knees. The softgels are slightly larger than typical supplement pills, but they went down easily with plenty of water when taken with food. I experienced no aftertaste or digestive side effects, which was a nice improvement over some previous brands. After taking two softgels daily for a full month, I noticed that my overall energy levels felt more stable, and the stiffness in my back and knees improved slightly. The effects were pretty typical for most curcumin supplements I have tried where nothing transformative happens right away. It took consistent use for about 3–4 weeks before I started noticing a difference. The results and the price of the 60-softgel bottle felt average for this type of supplement. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience after finishing the bottle.

    Great beneficial ingredients. Worthwhile supplement. Large capsules.

    This supplement has some great ingredients for your health. Not only does it have turmeric, but it has the black pepper that is required to help it absorb. The CQ10 is also necessary for our bodies, so I found this to be a beneficial supplement. It doesn’t contain a vast amount of different ingredients so you don’t have to worry about double dosing on some supplements. The capsules are quite large, but unless you have an issue with swelling you should be able to manage it. 30 day supply.

    Gigantic pills, but quality ingredients.

    These are the biggest pills I have ever seen and would not ever even try to swallow them. That said, the prized ingredients come in a gelatin capsule that is easy to burst in between my teeth and chew to extract the goods. Then just spit out the capsule. The contents are very peppery and slightly bitter, as expected. This brand has been around for a long time and I trust the quality of their ingredients. Fortunately I don’t mind the taste.

    It’s helping with my eye sight and focus.

    This Turmeric Complex is actually ready good. I have been taking it for 3 weeks. Sometimes I take one, and sometimes I take two with lunch. I think it’s helping my eyes, because I can see a little more clearly with Astaxanthin, and my focus is improving. I like getting the benefits of Curcumin, CoQ10, and the bovine gelatin for my overall body wellness and to reduce my oxidative stress and inflammation. All the ingredients make a beneficial combination, especially when it comes to helping me with joint inflammation and aging with long-term use of the supplement.The pills are big, but I haven’t had any issues with swallowing them or with aftertaste effects; as a matter of fact, they dissolve in my stomach easily and well. The bottle contains 30 servings and is made by Stop Aging Now. The milligram amounts of the ingredients are pretty good, so I feel comfortable knowing I’m taking what I need every day with this supplement. I took a star off because I think the price is high for only 30 days’ supply, but otherwise I would recommend the product; it seems to be helping my eyesight, especially focus, so far. Thank you!

    These pills are huge and take some work to swallow.

    The marketing claims are a little bold on this one. While Tumeric Curcumin has been put in a positive light in many studies … there is no ‘fountain of youth’ pill. What you are getting with Tumeric is a powerful antioxidant which helps to ensure that you are taking a supplement with a powerhouse in it.The downside is that, even with the addition of black pepper which aids absorption, Tumeric is very poorly integrated by the body in powder form. It is much more effective when consumed raw and directly from the root in juicing, etc.You can see by my picture that the inner bottle is stained orange because Tumeric root is extremely likely to stain items bright yellow or orange. While touching these pills for a few seconds won’t stain your fingers … this is a reason I don’t juice fresh Tumeric anymore as it stains anything the juice comes in contact with. Pill form is much less messy, albeit less effective.Some studies show Tumeric associated with pain relief or faster wound healing. I do not find these do that, after taking them for over two weeks.Overall, if you want to take Tumeric Curcumin without the messy staining … these pills are odorless and tasteless … and am okay value for the money. What they are not is a miracle pill which will stop you from aging. The giant size of the capsules is the only downside, other than reduced effectivity vs. raw Tumeric root juicing. These are probably the largest and hardest to swallow pills I’ve experienced and that reason alone would give me some pause to re-order. I hope my pictures and honest review of the product, after using it for several weeks, was helpful to you
