Latest batch not so great!
Had I reviewed this last year, it would have rated a 5. I’ve purchased this product severaltimes now and was thrilled to find some true powdered ginseng. Then late last year (’15)the price soared suddenly (supply??) and I waited. When the price returned to where ithad been, the product was certainly inferior. The jar I received had powder that was gummyand tasted so faintly of ginseng that I am convinced it was either cut with fillers (probably not)or was just some very young, green root that had been ground and not properly dried.Disappointed because my great find has become a major disappointment. But I may give itone more shot.

The other reviews are correct – there is no ginseng smell and it’s filled with sugar and some starch. Unreturnable. Better stuff at Penn Herb, Mountain Rose and Starwest Botanicals. Gonna stop buying their honey from Whole Foods. Stakich stinks.
