Decent pre-workout
This is a fairly decent pre-workout. One scoop of this is fairly potent and I can feel the burst of energy it provides. Each scoop is contains 175mg of caffeine, 1.75 beta alanine which I like. The taste is decent. The cherryberry flavor is not too bad. It does have a little salty taste to it for me but still not bad. Mixability wise, i use a vortex blender so I do not see any clumps at all. As for the value of the money, I think its is a little to steep as there are other pre-workouts out there that are better priced.

Energy in a scoop
I’ve found this pre-workout gives me a solid energy boost without making me feel jittery or wired like some other powders do. The CherryBerry flavor is tart and sweet, clean-tasting, and it mixes smoothly with no clumps. I like to dilute it slightly, which makes it even easier to drink. The energy hit is noticeable whether I sip it slowly over time or take a full scoop all at once, and I was happy that it didn’t upset my stomach—something I’ve struggled with using other strong pre-workouts. You’ll Feel It!
My typical pre-workout includes a protein shake with berries and some extra creatine and caffeine. I don’t think I was ready for this Spike Igniter hard-core. Have not had such a strong burst of energy before a workout ever before. I’d chalk it up to the caffeine, but I’ve crushed a couple Red Bulls before and not felt quite so strong and onset or quite so intense a peak as with this pre-workout. As such I must conclude there is a considerable added element provided by the additional supplements included in this pre-workout. I would also note that a good dose of mental clarity and focus was included with the physical acceleration. I did note a fair degree of jitters, however, this only encouraged me to work harder to burn off the excess energy. As such, I would not rate the side effects as terribly negative. The taste is on the sour side of sweet, which I like. Overall, I like to feel the things I put in my body and this pre-workout is certainly something you will feel the effect of. As such I consider it entirely fine value and undoubtedly effective.

Quality product, could be pricey depending on use
I have been a Biotest customer for close to 20 years at this point. I feel they have always made quality products, and this is no exception. However, as with any higher quality product, you’re going to pay for it. This energy drink mix has research-backed ingredients AND in high enough amounts to actually create a physiological response/effect (check your cheaper pre-workout mixes; I bet they have similar ingredients, but only a very small amount of each). I normally add this to my AM shake along with creatine, fiber, antioxidants, etc, so the energy hit is much less over the 3-5 hours I’m sipping it. However, when I mixed one scoop per the instructions and drank it down in 10 minutes, I got the energy “spike” (along with the beta-alanine tingles), telling me this product has in it what they say it does. The powder mixed easily and well, with essentially no powder grit in the bottom of the glass. The taste is basically as expected, tart/sweet, along with just a shadow of bitterness from all the rest of the active ingredients included. Now, if you are someone who just wants a bit of extra energy plus the right blend of nutrients/ingredients to support your workout, 1 scoop per workout makes this a pretty good buy (40 workouts total). However, if you are using 2 scoops, and will run through the container in 20 workouts, this is probably a bit pricey for your average gym-goer.

Tasty zero sugar pre workout
I was looking for a sugar free pre workout that tasted great and doesn’t give me the jitters. I’ve worked out for about 20 years and tried lots of pre workouts. I received the spike igniter pre workout for review and I think it’s a solid option.Cherry flavor is not my favorite but this tastes about as good as cherry flavored juices. Lots of sugar free drinks have a metallic aftertaste but I did not experience any in this pre workout.Mixes well without clumping using just a spoon or a shaker. Sweet, slightly sour and clean tasting.This pre workout has many common ingredients that you find in modern pre workouts that when taken correctly in the recommended doses can aid in energy, explosivity in workouts, help delay muscle fatigue to some degree, things like nitric oxide to dilate the blood vessels and for potentially enhanced blood flow and oxygen in the blood.Things like citrulline and beta alaline are commonly used to potentially sharpen mental focus, and reduce the buildup of lactic acid.Potentially users should note the ingredient list for caffeine dosage if they have a stimulant sensitivity. I’m a coffee drinker so the caffeine in this pre workout felt familiar and clean without any negative side effects or jitters.Overall, it’s a good pre workout in my experience. It’s a bit pricey, but it tastes good and I liked how I felt while taking it. It was effective for me and I used a single scoop but the highest suggested serving is 2 scoops.
