It Works!
I take L-lysine (along with collagen) to ward off inflammation, especially chronic canker sores, which for me, seem to be due to amino acid deficiency. I am hoping to find a free form version in capsules, but this will do in a pinch. The tablets are so big that I fear they won’t dissolve sufficiently. To help with my absorption issue, I cut and crush the tablets before taking them. However, the product seems to work, since I have no problems with painful mouth sores. A quality supplement, if you can stand swallowing the hard tabs!

Size: Horse Pills
I decided to try these tablets because the usual powdered capsules I order from the same brand were all out at the time I placed my order. I figured these would be fine, nope, they are a choking hazard! This supplement is HUGE. So huge that even if I cut them in half, they become jagged and even more dangerous somehow! I’m not someone who chokes on pills but the shape and size of these are impossible. I’d rather take 3 or 4 small round tablets, than have to do all the work of crushing this gigantic pill up in a motor and pestle, getting veggie capsules, and using my hand press to capsule the powder myself in order to get this down safely. I’ll stick to the capsules and make sure I order 2 at a time that way I always have a backup. Nice to know if I’m ever in a pinch I can put in a lot of work and get this version but taking this as is has been a bit dangerous for me. Size should be reconsidered considerably.
