Happy with it so far – no GI side effects
I started taking this for blood sugar support and overall metabolic balance, mostly in the mornings on an empty stomach. I was a little nervous about GI side effects because I’ve heard berberine can be rough for some people, but I’ve actually had zero stomach upset, which was a nice surprise.I’ve noticed steady energy, less bloating and fewer random cravings during the day. I do feel like it’s doing something in the background in terms of blood sugar stability, even if it’s subtle.One thing I did notice though is my period came a bit earlier than usual after starting it, even though I am normally very regular. I read online that this can happen for some people due to how berberine can interact with insulin and hormones, so I’m not immediately alarmed, but I am keeping an eye on it. It could also just be timing and coincidence, but it stood out enough for me to notice.Overall I’m happy with it so far, especially since I’m tolerating it well on an empty stomach, but I’m just staying a little more observant with how my cycle responds long term.

I have been taking Berberine for a while now and discovered the original brand I was taking was not of the best quality or potency, so I thoroughly research before I order. The ingredients in these capsules appear to be high-quality, more readily absorbed, and potent. What sold me on trying this Berberine supplement is the Berbervis Phytosome formulation with optimized cinnamon, and the Triquetra Health brand. The gel caps are standard size for this type of supplement. I find the capsules easy to swallow, though to clarify, I am one of those who can swallow 4 or 5 capsules with a generous amount of water. I do not detect any taste or aftertaste and have absolutely no gastrointestinal side effects from taking this product. My system can be fussy, so I am careful to take my supplements with meals and to drink plenty of water. I appreciate that there are 120 capsules, which, at two capsules per day, is a two-month supply, which is twice the amount I have received with other brands. I’ve been testing these capsules for 10 days, so I cannot speak about long-term results such as energy levels, mood, or appetite control. If you are looking for a high-quality berberine supplement to try, this is a solid choice.
