I work a 12 hour shift two days out of the week and I’m used to taking 5 Hour Energy and Drinking Monsters for energy. I was tired of spending $40+ a month just to function and keep myself awake at work. So I did some research and found these. I bought a bottle just to try it out and took one pill an hour before work. I was skeptical but it definitely works to my surprise. I was relaxed but alert the entire 12 hour shift (even after I got home, I would take it no less than 12 hours before needing sleep, or else you’ll be in a chill but alert state). I even gave 2 pills to my co-worker and he says it works better at keeping him awake than the Xenadrine he was taking (He asked for 2 more pills the next day and bought a bottle for himself). I like how subtle the energy is. It comes in gently and leaves gently. As it tapers off you won’t feel as energetic, but you’ll still be alert and focused. It’s not a static shock like Monster and it lasts longer than 5 Hour (6+ Hours, 10+ if your not doing any strenuous work). I don’t drink Monster, 5-Hour, or grab any iced coffee from Dunk’n Donuts anymore. I mean I can, but I don’t need too ^_^.

There are some caffeine pills that you take and you can literally fall asleep after taking one. This is not one of those pills. It keeps you alert but the l theanine acts to keep the caffeine “in check” so to speak, so that you don’t become jittery. I’ve actually taken another product very similar to this in the past called “Bio Energy” that contained caffeine+L theanine (among a host of other ingredients) and it also worked the same way that this product does (focused energy without any jitters) but these products tend to be more expensive than regular plain caffeine pills so I USUALLY just buy straight caffeine pills BUT these “Smarter Vitamins” caffeine pills are very affordable at $10 per bottle if you purchase the 3 pack. DEFINITELY gonna buy another 3 pack ASAP to stock up (price is too good). I’ll be honest, I was a bit hesitant at first to buy it since the price seemed a little “too good to be true” compared to similar products on the market but trust me, take just 1 pill and you’ll feel the difference. Personally, I take just 1 pill per day around 3 pm and can go until 3 am before I even feel tired (I’m a night owl and yes, I know that it’s bad for me, I need to work on that). For you guys and gals that keep regular hours, take it a few hours earlier in the day so that it doesn’t disturb your sleep. Overall, GREAT product at an even GREATER price.

One of the best caffeine supplements on the market. The l-theanine takes the edge off any jitters. Although I prefer a 2:1 ratio of caffeine to l-theanine in a caffeine supplement and this product falls short of that ratio in the opposite direction with 200mg caffeine and 100mg l-theanine the addition of MCT oil is a welcome and puts it well ahead of most other similar supplements. I highly recommend combining it with the same brand L-theanine supplement which contains 250mg of L-theanine bringing the ratio closer to the sweet spot of 2:1 caffeine/L-theanine with the extra 300mg of flaxseed oil in that product as with the MCT oil in this one just the icing on the cake.Great for pre-workout, working long shifts, or if you need to focus on work or studying.As for the price there are probably better options in terms of price per count, but for the quality and for the cost is superb. Buying the three pack with the amazon subscribe & save and if it runs on sale with a e-coupon saves bit of cash. My order came with a card directing me to a website that asked a few simple questions about my purchase and asked for an order number and offered me another bottle free along with free shipping for doing so. So if you’re willing to buy in bulk and they’re still offering that survey promotion you would be hard pressed to find a better value.

i was looking for something to replace my consistent consumption of energy drinks, but needed to make sure whatever it was, that it wouldn’t make me nauseous. with almost the equivalent amount of caffeine in a single pill as the drinks i was consuming, i was completely surprised at how well i tolerated these pills. i was focused, had energy, but did not feel jittery or anxious/nervous at any point after taking them. in addition, my appetite was well suppressed and i didn’t feel the need to snack until the evening. the pills were easy to swallow and comparable in size to my current daily multivitamin. highly recommend if you’re looking for an excellent caffeine pill with no side effects!

When I first started buying these three packs, I found their taste superior to their MACA-Caffeine counterparts, and pretty effective. But since I started buying these three years ago the price has nearly doubled—and the quality has been the same, or has even diminished. And they now tend to melt together pretty easily in the bottle .If you purchase caffeine elsewhere it’ll likely be just as good, and taking L-Theanine supplements along with caffeine pills gives me greater control of how both chemicals impact me because L-Theanine is incredibly dosage-dependent. You’ll find it used in products that both pep you up in the morning and relax you in the evening, and that’s because different dosages have wildly different impacts—and not all human bodies (weight, gender, age), brains, and metabolisms are the same.If money is no object, you do you; if you’re looking to try something new and affordable, I now prefer caffeine pills and L-Theanine supplements separately. The price is has gone up A LOT—probably because of the national shortage of ADHD stimulant medication. I would wager that demand by those of us who are desperate and at the futile mercy of the FDA/DEA’s incompetence has driven up the price (it climbed pretty rapidly in the last 12 months from about $32/3-pack). The supply/demand shakedown by the manufacturer has been so extreme that the company has forever alienated me.If you want to pay this much for two incredibly ubiquitous chemicals, have at it. I don’t, and the company has lost me for good—I just cancelled my Amazon subscribe and save.

Look. I work in medicine. I don’t believe in most supplements. This one made me a believer in L-theanine. It has been absolutely life changing. I came for the caffeine, stayed for the antidepressive/antianxiety effect. I take it once daily in the AM and frankly feel great all of the time.
