    Spirulina Algae

    I didnt get these for immune support. I got them because Ive researched spirulina as a super food for humans and I thought it sounded like a nice treat if horses can eat it too. Looking at the ingredients, it looks like it has a good amount of spirulina. I think its 50%? Ive read that it contains alot of good stuff, including being rich in protein. Feeding Spirulina sounded like a neat idea. Im definitely not slipping it to a donkey or a mule, those aren’t even horses are they? Im not eating them. For humans they look horrible.

    Great smelling supplement! My guy loves it!

    I have a horse with really bad allergies and breathing issues. On top of that, he is allergic to Timothy hay. Every spring I have issues with his breathing and so far, we have started this spring and he still sounds good, even with all the pollen showing up everywhere (this is when he starts to have issues). I chose him to start the Smartpak Spirulina on, and so far, no changes in his breathing yet.It is well packaged in a water resistant, resealable bag. It comes with a scoop and he gets 1 scoop daily. It smells AMAZING! When I open the bag you can really smell it everywhere and he has no issues eating it. I have not figured out how long the bag will last at 1 scoop per day but this is at least a 30 day supply for 1 horse.Great product that I will be buying at least through the spring and summer for this horse.⭐️ 1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality, or it does not reflect the advertising.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults, or is not priced where it should be for the product.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars – It’s passable. It has some faults, but the quality is adequate for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars – Product quite acceptable; it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.

    It’s SmartPak so we already know the quality is good

    Ordered this to help with the spring dust in the air and to have on hand for impending natural disasters in the area that will impact respiratory systems of both humans and animals. Haven’t used it yet because still waiting for either or both to happen. But at first glance the pellets are well made, they smell nice and the cost for the bucket is reasonable.

    all 3 horses readily ate it

    I’ve got an aunt nearby with 3 horses so i decided to give this a try. All three enjoyed it. If you know what spirulina is than this is a decent amount. If you look at the box it’s 15 grams per 30gs of pellets. So half of what you give will have spirulina in it. I take Vit-C when I know i’ll be a sick for a quicker recovery or i know like my recent sick family members are coming over. Do the same for your horsies ! Mine was the Tasty Apple Banana flavor.

    Horses Eat It Up

    Great Spirulina pellets that the horses eat right up. They seem to really like it, which is good. If they weren’t eaten, they wouldn’t be utilized. These are fresh and natural pellets that are great for horses health. Quality product.

    Great boost, not a cure-all

    These spirulina pellets are a solid add-on for immune and respiratory support, heck, I take spirulina myself! My mare, who gets a bit wheezy in dusty conditions, seems to breathe a little easier since starting these. The pellets mix well with her feed, and she eats them no problem. Nice support for the price, but it can add up if you’ve got multiple horses or use it long-term. It’s not a substitute for good pasture, stall cleanliness, and care, don’t expect miracles.

    Convenient Spirulina Supplement That My Horses Enjoy

    Finding a supplement that supports immune health and is easy to feed can be a challenge, but the SMARTPAK Smart & Simple Spirulina Pellets have worked well for my horses. Spirulina is widely recognized for its benefits in promoting a healthy immune system and supporting a normal inflammatory response, which is why I wanted to incorporate it into their diet. Unlike powdered spirulina, which can be messy and difficult to mix into feed, these pellets make the process much more manageable.One of the things I’ve noticed is that my horses readily eat these without hesitation. The apple-banana flavor seems to help with palatability, making it a good option for picky eaters who might otherwise turn their noses up at supplements. Since spirulina is known for its strong taste and smell in powder form, having it in a flavored pellet makes it much easier to ensure they get the full serving without waste.While I’m satisfied with how well my horses take to these pellets and the nutritional benefits they offer, I do feel the price point is slightly higher than I would prefer. That said, the convenience of the pellet form and the quality of the product make it a viable option for those looking to add spirulina to their horse’s diet without the hassle of dealing with powders. My horses are doing well on it, and I’ll be keeping an eye on their progress as they continue with this supplement.
