I have seen that an annual milk thistle detox has been effective in moving liver blood panel scores from slightly abnormal to normal. But I also think that it’s essential to be careful with the liver. So the purity and potency of whatever milk thistle detox one chooses is arguably more important than many other supplement regimens.PROS:Anabolic Labs has been on the market for decades and is recommended especially within the chiropractic community.Anabolic labs is based in Colorado and manufactures its supplements in its own USA-located facilities.Its products are well-packaged in glass containers rather than plastic.CONS:Anabolic labs does not make available to its customers purity or potency testing data for its supplements.While it is true that providing this info can be complicated (given the complexity of manufacturing processes and the sourcing of ingredients) since the FDA does not certify supplements, there is no other truly credible means for customers to know that what they’re buying is pure, the right potency and safe to use.Also, there are tons of supplement vendors and widely varying prices. How does one know that the more pricey brands like Anabolic Labs are worth the higher cost?While the CON listed here is true for the vast majority of supplement manufacturers, there are now manufacturers who are using QR codes on the bottles of their supplements that link to third-party purity, potency, heavy metal and contamination testing for that manufactured batch. Milk thistle is great for liver support and fatty liver. This brand is a well known brand and made in the USA.Price doesn’t not equal quality though and vitamins have no regulation . Some brands work better than others as each person is different.

I use a variety of products from Anabolic Labs and have been fully satisfied with all of them. It’s a company I trust, with a long history of US production and packaging in a protective, dark-colored glass bottle. The 175mg serving, standardized to 80% (140mg silymarin), is the same as other options I’ve used. I typically take one per day, so it’s a 50-day supply.

I ordered these for the benefits of milk thistle, and can say that these are well tolerated, and appears to be true to the qualities listed on the label, as far as I’m able to tell. Made in the U.S.A.As always it’s impossible to state benefits when first taking a supplement but thus far no negative impact at all. I will usually try a supplement for a few months, and then stop taking it to see if my body misses it, to fully evaluate it: if for any reason I find any negative qualities or impact, I will update as always.

I honestly cannot say if this supplement works or not. I have not had any adverse effects, so I assume that it is manufactured well, but I have not noticed any improvement effects either. I am giving 3 stars because there has been no negative issues, I just cannot claim the quality or intended effects are excellent or otherwise.
