I can’t really give a review about the effectiveness as of yet since I’ve only just begun taking these. I can say that beetroot is purported to have many benefits and I’m hoping to see those. There isn’t really a taste to these but you can smell the beets. Some of the pills have a powder feel to them but that’s pretty normal for capsules. I would say the value is good for these as they are not terribly expensive. I have not had any side effects so far. A nice travel option for me
I’ve been using beetroot for energy in my daily electrolytes for about a year now but taking the full bottle and doing the mix thing while I’m on the road is a serious pain. This is a great alternative to that, and it shows 3 capsules at about 1950mg, which is about what I shoot for with the mix-your-own version.So, I used this for a full week at the beach and found that there’s really no difference in the overall effects between this capsuled version and the one that I’ve been using. That said, I might actually be that one person who really loves the flavor of beetroot and there’s zero flavor here. Therefore, for me at least, this probably won’t be my go-to at home, but I’ll reserve this for my travels and any other time when doing a mix just isn’t going to work that well.Now, I will point out that taking beetroot isn’t life-changing overnight. As with any supplement, changes tend to be gradual and over time, as is the decline coming off of them and why I wanted to give it a full week while I could dedicate the time to give it an honest evaluation. All to say, don’t expect instant miracles. For me at least, it has helped my energy level and feeling of wellness.
