Best to calcium intake
When taking calcium daily, you want the best type so your body will absorb the highest % of calcium. I have talked with several doctors and the Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite is the best type as you body will absorb the calcium the best. Other types will allow absorption but not efficiently or at the highest percentage. My wife needs calcium and she has been taking this for a long time. She wants the best chance of absorption of calcium available. Highly recommended product.

This form of calcium (via hydroxyapatite) is a newer approach that is supposedly more bioavailable, or perhaps direct, toward improved bone absorption.The pills are on the small to medium size and are fairly easy to swallow. Not too many factors inhibit calcium absorption, but a few do. Those are oxalic acid, phytic acid, and excess phosphorous.Calcium absorption benefits from having enough Vitamin D, so you may want to pair this with a supplement that contains some Vitamin D, as this supplement does not contain it. As a note, Vitamin D is a fat-soluble supplement (A, D, E, and K are all fat-soluble) that does not eliminate as rapidly as many of the others, so taking more Vitamin D is not necessarily always helpful. Additionally, Vitamin D is actually considered a hormone/prohormone, so hopefully you are ensuring that you have good levels of it, as it is important for a lot of reasons.In terms of price, this product is currently priced out at around 30 cents/day. That seems fairly competitive for the supplement type, when compared to other brands. Overall, I think that this is a good product. I would like to see more investigation and certification from it for more assurance on quality.

Good product but pricey. 4 **** for price. 5 ***** for quality and convenience.People told to take calcium know they should take vitamin D and magnesium but we aren’t usually told to take vitamin K and phosphorus, too, even though our bones need all of these.Tried these because because they are calcium phosphate.There are so many combinations of calcium but I hadn’t seen the phosphate before. Besides bone health, I think the phosphate combo is easier on the stomach. Calcium doesn’t bother my stomach so I can’t compare these in that way.I believe phosphate, like citrate, is one of the forms that easier for the body to use. I normally take calcium citrate 1-2x week.It is nice that you can take smaller pills and space them out throughout the day or week or give yourself a boost when you haven’t had much dietary calcium. You could also cut the large citrate pills in half but these are certainly easier.If take 1,200-1,500 mg daily, this bottle is just good for a few weeks. That’s too expensive for me so I don’t plan to get them again.

White oval tablets come safety sealed in a plastic bottle with screw cap. Suggested dose is one tablet. The tablets are smooth and easy to swallow. I like that the tablets are only 225mg so I can stack them how I choose. I don’t like that bottle I received expires only 4 months from delivery date.
