Small. easy to swallow and no strong taste or odor
I usually take fish oil on a daily basis but prefer krill oil due to the added phospholipids for superior absorption and being a cleaner more sustainable source of essential omega 3 fatty acids. Krill is also superior to regular fish oil because it contains the carotenoid astaxanthin and choline. I’ve previously used well-known brand that had a strong vanilla smell and flavor I didn’t really like. This says it has vanillin but I don’t notice much of a taste at all. The smaller size of krill oil soft-gels over the larger fish oil soft-gels is a plus making them easier to swallow. The krill oil in this product is from wild caught antarctic krill and a sustainable fisheries partnership and eco-harvesting.Overall, this is a high quality omega 3 krill oil supplement that also provides the added benefits of phospholipids, astaxanthin, and choline for antioxidant, brain, and liver health. These have no fishy burps or aftertaste that fish oil often causes. The price seems to be on par for comparable krill oil supplements and contains 60 soft-gels for a 30 day supply at the suggested dose of 2 per day.

Noticeable improvements and no negative side effects
I know the overall importance of taking Omega 3’s especially as I age, yet for whatever reason I always end up discontinuing it. So, I decided to try the Antarctic krill oil because the omega 3’s in krill oil is supposed to be better absorbed by the body than the ones found in fish oil. The soft gels have an odor comparable to pure vanilla extract which I find pleasant. They are easy to swallow, and I find them to leave no residual taste in my mouth and I did not experience any fishy aftertaste or burps after the fact. I did notice an improvement in inflammation and reduction in my arthritis joint pain. Plus the fact that they are supposed to help with overall brain function and cardiovascular health is a huge plus for me. The studies have shown clinical benefits at 1,000 mg so this product is right in line with the available research. While the recommended dose of 2 softgels a day will run about .83 cents per day, I do think that this brand is worth its price because they are easy for me to digest and I did experience noticeable, positive benefits while taking them.

I don’t like the smell or the taste of these. It’s not “fishy” but it smells weird.
I wanted to try krill oil for a long time and finally got the chance with these 1,000mg krill oil supplements. Unfortunately I haven’t liked them as much as I wanted to. The pills are small enough and easy to swallow. And krill oil is said to be even better for you than the average fish oil supplements. But I find the smell of these to be overbearing and don’t enjoy taking them. When I open the bottle they emit a very strong smell that’s hard to say what it is, it doesn’t smell rancid or anything it’s just very distinctive and I find it not very pleasant. It doesn’t taste or smell fishy and there’s no aftertaste at all but the smell is hard for me to get over.

Great, high-quality krill oil at a fair price
I’m really happy with this krill oil! At $24.99, it’s a great way to add omega-3s to my daily routine without dealing with the unpleasant fishy burps or aftertaste I’ve experienced with traditional fish oil.I like that it uses Superba Boost krill oil with phospholipid-bound EPA and DHA, along with naturally occurring astaxanthin and choline. The softgels are easy to swallow and convenient to take every day.The biggest selling point for me is definitely the lack of fishy aftertaste. So Good.
So I’ve always been a big fan of fish oil and an even bigger fan of krill options. But finding a quality krill supplement isn’t as easy as you would think…until now.I’m really impressed with this brand. From packaging, purity and ingredients – they seem to know their stuff. The bottle arrived clean with the cap tightly shrink-wrapped and the inner safety seal fully adhered. The soft gels were super fresh. The expiration date is over one year out. Fresh off the assembly line! The clear red gels are odor free with no real taste. No annoying fish burps or odd breath after taking them every morning. Since they are smaller than many fish oil brands, they are super easy to swallow. Made in the USA. MSC certified. Wild-caught Antarctic krill. These check off so many of the boxes I look for in a supplement.But what I really love is that krill stores its great nutrients in a phospholipid form, which is just a fancy way to say the bioavailability assures the krill is protected inside your gut and has more time to do what it’s supposed to do before stomach acids take over. Krill School is now over.The combination of astaxanthin and choline gives these little red gels extra super power. With the usual caveat that supplement results are so subjective, I see really good things happen with consistent use of krill products. My skin feels a bit more hydrated and my beat up gym joints feel more lubricated. There is so much goodness inside these little red gels that I would totally recommend giving them a try if you’re looking to step your fish oil game. Krill beats plain fish oil every time.

They smell like vanilla
I have been taking fish oil for heart health for many years. The Rawleigh Superba Krill Oil is different than any I have taken. The gel caps are small and easy to swallow with no aftertaste. They have a sweet vanilla smell to them. I have not had any negative after affects from these. They don’t upset my stomach and I don’t have the fishy burps after taking them. They are a quality supplement that should meet the effectiveness needs for me and my heart health. Good value and I will purchase these again when I need more.

Good source of fish oil
Good supplements. I like that it has 1000 mg of fish oil. No weird or fishy aftertaste. I have added this to my supplemental regimen and take this nightly. I have no issues taking these and they are easy on my stomach. These don’t smell bad, but it does have a smell. Nicely sourced and effective way to get all the fish oil you need for daily supplementation.

High quality but high price and low concentration
To begin with, this seems like a high quality krill-sourced supplement, made in the USA. The pills are small, and rather than the usual translucent yellowish capsule that you usually see with fish oil, these are small red capsules. In place of the usual faint fishy smell, these actually have almost a sweet smell and I’m not sure where that is coming from. They are easy to swallow and I have not had any trouble with aftertaste.I believe that they are delivering what they promise effectively. However, the levels of EPA and DHA are kind of low and the price per serving is quite high, so not sure if the value is worth it.But if you are specifically looking for US-made, krill-sourced omega 3 supplements, this seems to be a great option.
