Good product but with a few small issues

My family (all athletes) has been taking creatine pretty regularly for the last 2-3 years. Unfortunately, my local store changed brands they carry (and the new brand is more expensive and not as good) so for the last few months have been looking for an alternative via Amazon. The last two brands I tried from Amazon were terrible: container was only 1/3 full, high cost, and gritty/did not dissolve well. This container was the same size/weight as what I have been taking and the name was almost exactly the same as well (so thought this may actually be the same company, but ended up being a different company and product).So let me start with the bad: this does not come with a tamper resistant outer seal. I truly can’t remember the last time I had a product that did not have this. This is likely not a big deal to some, but this is pretty much a given in this day and age. It did have a well attached inner seal, but that alone is just not acceptable especially on something getting shipped. No idea what Raw Form Nutrition was thinking in this regard.No-where does it state where this is made (including anywhere I could find on the website). It has a picture of Texas and states “Manufactured for:….” but does not state who the manufacturer is or where the ingredients are from. As a consumer, I like to know this. And as a Texan, if it has a picture of Texas, I EXPECT it to be fully manufactured in Texas (and not just be packaged for a company that happens to be in Texas).Looking at the container, I looked for-ever for the expiration date. Finally found it in really faint greenish dot matrix on the bottom of the not-smooth container (see picture). From what I can tell, the expiration date is 12/2027. That likely means that these have been sitting somewhere for 8-9 months so not exactly as fresh as I would have hoped (but in my case, will probably finish this in 1-2 months so not really that big a deal).As for the good, this seems to be a fairly good creatine. First, the container came almost entirely full (just like my past creatine that we have been taking for 2+ years). After the last couple of Amazon creatines I have tried which were shockingly empty, this is a refreshing change. Opening the container, the creatine has a more flour-like, packing texture versus past products. I attribute this to being just a tiny bit finer in texture than most of the others I have recently used.As for taste, there is none. It dissolves well in water and adds zero taste (as all decent creatine should). There is a very slight bit of grittiness but that is the same or maybe even a little less than every other good creatine powder I have tried. Mixing this into something like a smoothy and you would not know it was there.As for price, at $22 the cost is OK but not great. This is still several dollars more than I have been paying and almost twice the cost per ounce of some other bulk options on Amazon. I struggled a little with the rating on this one. The product itself is good. Had it been a single issue (higher price, manufacture location, or poor tamper resistance), I would have still given it a 5. However, due to all three issues, this is a 4 in my book.

Quality raw form creatine that mixes easily with no added taste

This creatine got my attention for the fact it is sold by a Texas company that provides its phone number, address and email address on the container. I have reviewed a LOT of supplements that I have obtained online and the sheer number of overseas companies is overwhelming. It means a lot to me to know I can call them if I have any question or problem with the product. That said, this “micronized powder” is super fine and dissolves quickly and completely in whatever I put it in. The product has no real taste to it which is great because I can put it in a smoothie or in with my dietary fiber and it just blends right in.The instructions provide recommendations as to when it should be taken to provide maximum muscle support but I have made it part of my normal morning routine. Whether you are trying to build muscle mass or simply keep it because you are on a GLP-1, creatine, along with resistance and weight training will help you reach your goal, according to research studies.Have I found it to be effective? Thats always a question I refuse to answer with regards to reviewing supplements as there are too many other factors and I am only one person, but I have read the research that says there is evidence that creatine works so I plan to continue its use daily. Don’t let the name “raw form” throw you off, that simply means it is 100% creatine with no added flavor or sugars.

It is best to be taken everyday, and having no lumps and grittiness makes it go down a lot easier.There is no USP certification, but the powder looks clean and clear, smells as expected and I find myself feeling better without all the GI irritating extras.I gave this powder 4 stars, it is an untested brand, but so far I am happy with the quality of the ingredients, cost, ease of use, and results.This is my experience and yours will differ.
