    Our son loves this

This is a very good vitamin. I’ve looked it up on several vitamin research lab websites to make sure the contents are what they say they are. My son has a hard time with digesting most vitamins and this one is not a problem. Since it has digestive enzymes, he takes them after having a few bites of food and makes sure to take them with meals. He’s been taking them for quite a while and this winter, he has had less illnesses than he usually does. We do eat well, but he seems to burn off the vitamins faster than I can get food into him! I’m not sure about the “acne clearing” components, but his face is less broken out (but this was never a huge problem with him, just small break outs). The nice part about Rainbow Light vitamins are they are food based, gluten free, with no sugars or any junk! Our doctor recommended these as they are what he and his family take.

Completely sold on these skin-improving vitamins

I’ve been buying these locally for my son for a number of years…but recently noticed that Amazon’s price was MUCH better (at least it was at the time of this review). I prefer to use food-based vitamins for my family, primarily for the benefits derived from whole-food nutrients. These teenager-targeted vitamins are also entirely free of sugar, lactose, wheat, gluten, and yeast and are gentler on the stomach than other vitamins that I’ve bought. My son can take these on an empty stomach; while the big-name drugstore brands must be taken with food or he else he gets queasy. I have the same situation with stomach tolerance of vitamins so I take the “Women’s One” version made by this same company. While 3 tablets is the recommended dosage of this teen vitamin, it does say that you can adjust the dosage to 1, 2, or 3 based upon your dietary/skin improvement needs. Although the tablets are rather large, he has no difficulties with them. I do wish they would switch to vegetable capsules which are easier to swallow, though. The herbal blend that helps to improve skin really does make a difference. My son headed off to college shortly before his 18th birthday. I sent a supply of his vitamins/supplements with him. At some point during his freshman year, he backed off of the vitamins…only taking 1 tablet a day instead of the 3 (and none at all on some days). By Christmas holiday, his normally clear skin was having fairly serious problems with breakouts. I guess he was trying to conserve the vitamins…but right at the time when his body probably needed them the most because of added stress. I sent several bottles back to school with him with the recommendation that he go back to 3 tablets. Huge improvement by the next time that I saw him. He’s now 19 and I recently asked him if he wanted to switch to Rainbow Light’s “Men’s One.” He’s decided to stay with the teen version for awhile longer to help keep his skin clear.

Very good product for a great price!

I’m ordering them through the subscribe & save item at amazon for $15.94 no shipping cost, you can’t beat this price anywhere and I get them on time every month. These are simply a very good vitamins for our teenagers. My son 13 yrs old started to take them months ago and I only give him two tablets per day. It has helped him with energy and concentration at school, he has improved tremendously his grades to As and Bs from Cs and Ds, his early signs of acne disappear after taking regularly these vitamins. It doesn’t upset his stomach and yes at the beginning he had some trouble swelling them, but now he takes them with a big glass of chocolate milk and has no problem now. I will totally recommend this product! 🙂

    GREATLY helped with acne

Son has acne, and has started sports, so I wanted a good vitamin in general. The acne in the past has not responded well to the dermatologist treatments; howeverin all honesty I can’t say that he has used the creams religiously.ANYWAY, once I convinced him to give this a 2 weeks try, the acne abatedto the point that even he recognizes the improvement. They are hard to swallow, don’t taste too nice. He was cutting them in half, buttried them once whole and said it doesn’t leave as bad a taste in his mouth whole. He takes only one a day.Very satisfied with this vitamin.

Works wonderful for clearing up acne!

I found the Rainbow Lite Teen vitamins on another site and was interested in the “potent skin clearing action”. So I read all the reviews and was impressed on how many said they actually worked. My teen son has been going to the dermatologist for 1 1/2 years and has been on a couple of different pills and topical treatments. His face was still breaking out and he had quite a few noticeable black heads which just would not go away. He started taking the vitamins – 2 a day the first week then he switched to 3 a day. Within 2 weeks all of the blackheads were completely gone. It was as if all of the impurities in his skin were pushed to the surface, like the blackheads, and when he washed his face, they just came off. He’s now been taking them a month and his skin looks the best it has looked in 1 1/2 years. Not a breakout in site. And his skin just looks so much healthier. I can’t say enough good things about these vitamins. Many people commented on the smell and the size. Yes they do smell and they are large – about the size of a one a day, maybe a little longer. My son doesn’t think they are that big and he says nothing about the smell. Signed up for the auto ship through Amazon, don’t want to run out, they are a keeper!

Best supplement facts label. Best front label.

Five stars because of the list of vitamins, minerals and supplements on the back label. Spent considerable time comparing vitamin content. Reviews and comments took me to many different brands, however at the end of the day this vitamin supplement stood alone. For example, Magnesium. Rainbow offers 300 mg per serving (3 tablets) while magnesium was non-existent in some other brands. We bought these vitamins for our 14 year old son. He was taking *no* vitamins but a nutritionist suggested a light amount of a multivitamin supplement might be a good idea because our son is a picky (very selective) eater. We now give him just one tab a day with breakfast. So far so good. He does not find the pill hard to swallow. In addition, the front label also offers information that separates these vitamins from other brands. Such as: Food based. Promotes healthy skin. Energy, bone, immune & stress support. Easy to digest. Gluten free. Dairy free. And there is even more info on the front label. These are important considerations for a child in their teen years.

THE SIZE MAYBE UNAPPEALING, BUT THE BENEFITS ARE WORTH IT

I take the women’s version and have for a long time;knowing how well they work I started my teen on them. If you do your research you’ll find “not everybody needs a vitamin”. Teens with their change in hormones, and less than adequate diet. It’s a good idea now I take R.L’s version because there a more soluble version than for example One a day. My system looses nutrients because of medical issues so for me it’s wonderful. Teenagers are finicky and what one says settles fine the other will say the polar opposite. My boys take these, no complaint( except yes the size but it’s certainly not a deal-breaker ) and have been for several months now. They use to take one a day for teens but the company decided to change the formula and make it a gummie for me that’s a deal-breaker! I switched them over to these and both my boys have commented on the less acne, and easier on their systems. Not making the “repeat visit” and fairly frequently have been known to take them on an empty stomach. One of the niceties of R.L vitamins; they work with your system and are absorbed naturally not causing nausea feeling. I highly recommend them.

    Well-balanced and potent

These are fantastic in value, potency, and performance. My acne is clearing up slowly but surely with the DermaComplex herbs and load of Vitamin A. I recommend these to my customers at the health foods store i work at. The tablet is bitter tasting when it touches your tongue and it is a bit hard to swallow because they are so big, but Rainbow Light just released a gummy version of these for those who have a hard time swallowing tablets.
