An excellent food-based calcium
I always like to find minerals and vitamins that are food-based as they seem to get absorbed better. The pill is a bit large and harder to swallow. Also, if I take two a day, I get too much magnesium. If you only need 500 mg of calcium per day – this is an excellent choice. I need more calcium – but if I take two of these per day, I then get 500 mg of magnesium, which is 100 mg more than my body will tolerate; more than 500 mg of magnesium a day gives me diarrhea. I take this once a day in the morning and take a different calcium later in the day. This is a good price for a food-based calcium. It does not upset my stomach. I believe Rainbow Light makes a good product. I wish they would lower the magnesium to 200 mg per tablet, then I would take this twice a day.Please Rainbow Light – lower the magnesium to 200 mg per tablet so I can take this twice a day! Then you will get five stars.

Effective calcium supplement
These pills are large and kind of square corners so they aren’t that easy to swallow. They don’t really have much flavor but I don’t let them dissolve in my mouth either. I’ve been taking them for years though and they seem to be effective in keeping my calcium level high enough to prevent progressions of osteopenia. The added horsetail and magnesium aids in absorption. I take 2 a day, morning and evening, with food. The doctor recommended 1,200 mg of calcium daily and these give me 1,000. I figure I get the rest through diet. These are the only calcium supplement I can really take that doesn’t upset my gut.

Ease of use
I have been taking this calcium/magnesium formulation for years. It provides the ratio of 2:1 calcium to magnesium that was recommended to me by a doctor. It does that in a 2 pill per day dose. It had become difficult to find in stores near me so l tried other products which l didn’t like as well. They required 5-7 capsules per day to get equivalent dosages.I was pleasantly surprised to find this product is carried by Amazon & am happy to once again be taking it.

Best Calcium Supplement – One Tablet Daily
I have used this calcium for years. Best feature is dose is one tablet daily. I highly recommend this if you need extra calcium, with added benefit of magnesium and D3.

Best Vitamin on the market today
My diet is awful & It might be my imagination but I actually feel better when I take these. I’ve taken Rainbow Light Vitamins for years but forget to order them for weeks/months at a time. Happy to find them on Amazon and better yet they can be set to reorder automatically.

Best thing I have ever tried to help my stomach issues!
I never leave reviews but this product deserves one! The only tough part is how hard it is to swallow. I crush it up and take it with something and it hasn’t been an issue. It is the best thing I have ever taken to regulate digestion( constipation) and helps with sleep.
