Was paralyzed. Since taking more nerve activity, slowly.
Started taking about 2.5 years after a spinal fusion went wrong & paralyzed me from my right waist down to my toes. Was in wheelchair for 2.6 years & after a lot of physical therapy & then forcing myself after to struggle to stand with a walker. Don’t know where I’d be now if I hadn’t started these but have definite nerve(painful) activity increasing slowly. For me, it seems like I’m feeling more where I was once paralyzed. I can now feel more from waist to upper thigh. I’ll keep taking & hope this is giving me feeling back. I can now use my hip to throw my right leg forward. Again, I hope this is helping.

Seems to be a decent product
I am giving this product 5 stars, not because ALA is helping my sfn, but because the product seems to be good quality. It’s too soon to tell if this will work for me. I wanted to do 3 weeks of IV 600mg ALA, but in this rural area, it’s just not readily available so I’m trying the oral approach. I assume it will take longer to see if the results are positive, but after 30 days I might be feeling less burning in my feet. The jury is still out though. I plan on at least 90 days of 600mg daily before I decide if ALA is helping or not. The packing is good. They have desiccant packs to absorb moisture and smell. I get very little side effects to my digestive system. My urine seems to get a little acidic? Don’t know if that’s the right description. It’s not a smell so much as sensation. There is no way to tell in the supplement world if the product actually has what it says it has in each capsule, so I consider it a shot in the dark, but the product, packaging, and quality all seem to be there. Crap like gabapentin and Lyrica did not work for me and made me very sick, so, what the hell. Gotta try something right? I’m not unhappy with my choice of this product at this point. Understand that taking 600mg of sodium-based r-ala includes the sodium in the weight. I feel that is a thing that needs to be clarified on the bottle, and a most brands do not. You are getting about 520mg of actual r-ala. I’m going to try a different brand that is third party tested, but I may come back to this. All in all, Na r-ala seems to be worth a shot.

Worth a try for Neuropathy.
5 star so far. Neuropathy is a long term issue so my review is soon after I received these. My doc recommended ALA as a “it’s worth a try” and these are now in clinical trials for Neuropathy. I take 600 mg, 300 in the am and 300 in the pm. This type, the R-ALA was rated by Mayo and others as the best. The seller was great, great pricing and I received the meds promptly. Again, it’s only been a month but I’m hopeful. My symptoms are stable at this point.

Part of my routine post-surgery
After doing research on what will lower inflammation and help my carpal tunnel surgery scar heal, this is a supplement that came up. I’ve been using it for 8 weeks post surgery, along with doing daily scar tissue massage and cbd cream application, and I’m recovering nicely. I can’t equate my recover to just this supplement, but it’s been part of my routine and I’m pleased with the overall results from everything I’m doing.
