EXPENSIVE— using just a little,
I’m just finishing my first bottle. It sat a long time after I purchased it without my using it,but the past few weeks I’ve been using at least once a day. I use it differently than many ofthe other reviewers say they do.1) This morning I made blue berry pancakes with frozen organic blueberries. I make my ownmaple syrup using organic maple sugar & water. Mix well, microwave for a minute, stir, thenlet it sit while preparing the pancakes. This morning I decided to add some berry powderafter I’d heated the mixture. At that point it didn’t look like the powder was completely blendingin & dissolving. I let it sit while preparing everything else. With that added time, it dissolvedpretty well. The mixture thickened up and I had a wonderful berry-maple syrup.2) I drink sparkling mineral water not simply because I like it but also because I havedry mouth from meds I take. It works better than anything else I’ve tried to remedythat dry, cottonmouth feeling. Adding a teaspoon of this powder to a glass makes awonderful fizzy berry drink. If not sweet enough for your tastes, add something tosweeten it– your choice. If you add a little chocolate, and maybe a teaspoon or soof reduced fat ice cream, you’ll have a wonderful “ice cream” soda. Something thatshouldn’t be particularly good for you, turns into a great treat and you won’t evenwant dessert if you drink it with or after your dinner. At least I don’t.I’ve found it mixes in pretty well if I start out with a little chocolate syrup and mix in theberry powder, then add the sparkling water, and mix again. It will get frothy -bubbly-and either continue mixing to dissipate the bubbles or allow it to sit a few minutes andthey will settle down on their own allowing you to add a little more sparkling water. The touch of ice cream is the last ingredient. Just that touch of ice cream adds thecreaminess that differentiates an ice cream soda from other soda fountain type drinks. If you go light, using just a little, with the chocolate syrup and the ice cream, the sugar& calorie count isn’t too bad either. I add a couple ice cubes at the end just to keep it cold—it is summer after all, and I’ll sip on it throughout the evening.I’m sure I’ll find other unique ways of adding it to everyday foods and drinks. Even today, after making the pancakes, thought, I could have added some berry powder to the pancakebatter and whole blueberries— or whatever other fruit I might be mixing into the batter. The next time I make a smoothie, I’ll add some to it, which was my intention when I originallypurchased it but haven’t been making smoothies recently. With so many fresh, organic fruits &veggies available this time of year, I’ve just been eating them. That mysterious “they”, who dictate what we should or shouldn’t do, say we shouldn’t usepowders or pills in place of eating the whole foods—but if used in addition to whole foods,I think you get the best of both worlds.I like the purity of & the organic and non-GMO nature of the ingredients. I like that it’s coldprocessed so as not to destroy nutrients with heat and I like that it includes fruits thataren’t readily available in the grocery store, but contain nutrients that are so good for us.I live in Washington, a state known for it’s humidity, but really haven’t had a problem withclumping in the bottle. Sure, maybe a few small ones that are easily broken up with the tipof my spoon. I NEVER use a wet spoon so I’m not adding moisture to the bottle. I take myone teaspoon out and immediately close the bottle—not allowing it to sit open for even“just a couple” minutes. I keep the bottle on the 2nd self of a corner upper cabinet next tomy sink, where it’s in a dry, dark place. Were I to develop a problem with clumping, I’d doas others have suggested and store in my refrigerator. It’s expensive, but if you use just a teaspoon, not a rounded or heaping teaspoon, the bottlemakes a quite a few drinks and will last a while, making the price easier to take.My suggestion: Give it a try and let your imagination go— see what you can create that’suniquely you.

Why can’t this be in pill form? Product clumps before I finish the bottle
I wish this came in pill form. All Pure Synergy products sold in powdered form seem to clump no matterhow careful I am to fully close the bottle and try to insure it’s remaining free from humidity….I never seemto be able to finish any of these powders without having to throw the rest away….It’s frustrating and I justhad to quit purchasing a great formula because of the packaging…I would give it 5 stars for flavor andbeing effective…but I just don’t see the point of throwing half of every bottle away when it turns into ahard blob that I can’t restore no matter how much I bang it with a knife to try and get the clump apart…Frustrating!!!Jan 2022I talked to someone from Synergy who told me to do the following: After using, make sure the cap istightly closed, turn the bottle upside down and store it that way. Since I’ve been doing that, no more clumping. Probably this should be written on every bottle of powdered supplements they make…

A valuable health product
I use this berry powder in conjunction with a green super food powder-together they provide a power housedose of nutrition. The sources are very pure and organic, and it includes all the berries that nutritionists recommend, which we would never be able to eat individually. Highly recommend. I am a senior citizen and definitely feel the difference when I take this product, more energy.

Amazing flavor
Have been using this for several years now in smoothies or just adding a heaped tsp to either plain yoghurt or kefir when I’m making a yoghurt or kefir bowl. You don’t need to add a sweetener (unless you want to) and it really enhances the berry flavor. I also usually add a 1/2 to a cup of berries but if I don’t have any I just add a bit more of the berry powder and it works fine. Great ingredients too, mixing all the superfoods of berries, apples, acai and beets in one easy to mix organic powder.

Delicious Source of Important Nutrients & Food-Derived Vitamin C
I have purchased other products from this company and have always been impressed with their quality. Although the prices tend to be on the high side, at least I know I am getting something that i consider worth the money.Since this is made entirely from natural food sources, it is superior to most other Vitamin C powders and tablets, which are lab-manufactured and harsher on the body. As this product is closer to nature, it provides a great way to get real, food-derived Vitamin C (100% RDA) as well as a host of healthy phytonutrients like anthocyanins, polyphenols, and ellagic acid. Phytonutrients are primarily found in the pigments and skins of fruits and vegetables, and have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. They may also enhance immunity and inter-cellular communication, repair DNA damage from exposure to toxins, and detoxify carcinogens. Some tips for using this:1) It is delicious in yogurt and if you use unsweetened yogurt, it acts as a natural sweetener. It is also good in smoothies.2) This is powder and it may clump. However if you store the bottle upside down (see picture) it seems to prevent clumping during normal to cool weather conditions. When it is very humid however, you will get some clumping but will not be too bad if you use the product regularly.3) When possible, try to keep moisture out of the bottle. Keep the bottle tightly closed and store in a cool, dry place.I put this on Subscribe & Save because I enjoy using it and value the nutrition, especially now that we are dealing with the coronavirus.
