I don’t really care for these stinging nettle extract supplements. I had read positive thing about the benefits of taking this extract. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with it, I’m not sure if maybe this is something that is more beneficial for men rather than women, that just me speculating, I’m not in the medical field or anything so can’t say for sure. However that being said, take with caution if you are a woman. These exasperated PMS symptoms and menstrual cramps which after doing more in depth research is a possible side effect, they can also induce miscarriage so DO NOT EVER take these while pregnant or if you’re trying to get pregnant because from what I read and was told by a pharmacist friend of mine this extract can induce uterine contractions which is why it caused me to have the most intense menstrual cramps ever over the 3 weeks I tried it out. So for me personally any potential benefit was out weighted by the negative side effects because although these extracts are supposedly good for all sorts of things, the week of hell I had to deal with wasn’t worth it especially if I were to continue with it and make that a monthly experience. Aside from my personal experience with this product, it was shipped quickly, packaged well, had a seal around the cap and inside the bottle so you know it’s been tampered with, the product presentation is well done and looks high quality compared to some other supplement vendors I’ve tried out after finding on Amazon. The serving suggestion is 1 per day and you got 120 in the bottle so each other will last you 3 months, which makes the price point affordable. Nothing worse than paying $80 for some “wonder supplement” only to find out you only get 60 capsules and to get any benefits you’re meant to take 3 a day lol I swear some of these vitamin companies are ruthless when it comes to the pill count + price + dosage frequency. So overall I have to give a low star review for MYSELF, however for other people these may be great. I unfortunately am not one of those people. My only complaint is that I think there should be a more severe warning to pregnant women and women looking to conceive and it should be shown boldly on the ad or the product packaging. This is supposed to actually be a great benefit for postpartum ladies, but the possible dangers it could pose for the other phases of pregnancy needs to be highlighted more, even the issues I mentioned having should be mentioned up front because oddly enough you have to dig for those effects being a risk vs all I had to do was mention stinging nettle extract to my pharmacist buddy and he knew immediately about those reactions.

What stands out to me the most about this product is the value. They offer 120 capsules, which is essentially a four month supply, an especially high value when you consider that most supplements require a two-three capsule per day dosage. This is just one. I haven’t noticed any changes to my allergies yet, but am hoping that over time I start to see some. The capsules are medium sized and there is a slight smell that you can detect once you open the bottle- which to me is a testament of the product’s potency. One serving offers the equivalency of 10,000mg of stinging nettle. I’m using it to try and wean myself off of Benadryl, as I’ve been looking for more natural alternatives to the allergy medication I’m constantly taking. Again, I can’t speak to its efficiency yet, as I’ve only been using it for a few days, but will update this again once I start to see some results.This has been third-party tested as it has the GMP stamp of transparency. I noticed that the still underneath the cap was pretty hard to break, which was probably done to help preserve the product’s potency. Additionally, I’m a fan of the fact that the preservatives listed underneath other ingredients in the nutrition label are not toxic chemicals- I can’t stand chemical chemicals in my products!

There are many benefits of stinging nettle. For me the anti inflammatory and antihistamine properties are what I like the most, and it works well for me.This is a once a day capsule which is a nice break from 2 or 3 a day of some others, and you get a 120 days supply for the money.
