4 pills once/day, or 1 pill 4 times each day?
Confusing instructions, but says take on empty stomach(or not), so 4 empty stomachs(2 hours without food) won’t work for anyone. Tastes like licorice. Don’t know if they are working. A systemic enzyme does it’s work in the gut, digestive enzymes in the stomach. Gonna try 4 in the morning before I eat (45 minutes.)

I needed to take cellulASE because my GI system has too much cellulose.They put the cellulASE in cellulose capsules! No sense!

Successfully taking it differently than the directions
I’m having a strongly positive experience with this supplement, but I’m taking it differently than directed. (You do you.) I have severe fiber issues and have not been able to eat a vegetable in a very long time. Recently I had a stew with kale, spinach, beans, corn, carrot, celery, etc. without tummy troubles. I take one of these 20 minutes before I eat any food with fiber (I also take the Now Super Enzyme supplement and some Bean-O) and together I’m good to go. Note that the Bean-O and Now Enzyme did not help much with harder fiber foods like kale, cabbage, etc.) With my little supplement “cocktail” I can eat like a regular person again and not someone obsessed with making sure every bite is FODMAP friendly so that my body doesn’t hurt or embarrass me. The taste of these is awful but the freedom to eat again without fear is most definitely worth it for me. Taking it the way I take it, I have experienced none of side effects other reviewers have mentioned, either.

Please leave out the Cilantro
Why did you put cilantro in this? The product works BUT… there are people who have a gene where cilantro makes everything taste like SOAP!I’m one of those. Although this really improves my digestion it’s not worth having everything I eat while using it taste bad. It deadens me because years ago I couldn’t live without a cellulase enzyme capsule made by Enzymatic Therapy. Then it was discontinued. This has been the only product since then that I’ve found to have a high potency cellulase content. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the cilantro.

It works fairly wel for fiber breakdown, but.
I don’t need to loose weight that it seems to be causing. I have used it for fiber processing only. I have changed to a new for me product with improved results. 12/18/2025

Not AIP compliant.
I was disappointed with this product – it spiked my auto-immune symptoms because of the additional ingredients. I had thought I was buying cellulase, but the added vegetable and seed ingredients caused me to have physical pain. So if you are utilizing the Auto Immune Protocol, I advise you to stay away from this product – it’s definitely not AIP compliant! Also, this product is ineligible for a return. If I’d bought it at a local natural grocery, I would have been able to return it. So that was 55 dollars down the drain.

Caused stomach irritation.
I tried PuraDyme Cellulase Enzyme Supplment because it has a stronger dose of Cellulase in the ingredients. However, the other ingredients in the formula irritated my stomach and caused digestion distress, so I will not be buying it again.
