Made in China and a few things really bother me
I was really excited about these. The ingredients were exactly what I was looking for. The third-party testing and GMP certification in the listing were also a big reason I picked these.First impression was great. It came sealed in plastic around the cap and had a foil seal under the cap too. The bottle is filled almost to the top which I love! I hate getting a huge bottle that is half empty and wasting plastic. I dumped all 180 softgels out and none were stuck together, melted or leaking.The softgels are less than an inch long and smooth. No real smell or taste. No nasty burps either. The directions say 1 softgel 3 times a day. I didn’t read that part and took all 3 together the first night, lol. They went down fine and my stomach didn’t care. Mine expire June 2028 but the date on the bottom is REALLY hard to see.Then I noticed there was nothing on the bottle saying third-party tested or GMP certified. I knew I saw that when I ordered so I went back and looked at the listing again. Yep, both are advertised.So I contacted the company. They answered really fast which was a big plus. They sent me the GMP certificate and I found out both the active ingredients AND the finished softgels are made in China. I really wasn’t expecting that with all the US Formula stuff in the listing and on the bottle.Then it got even weirder.I was taking pictures in daylight and thought the label looked odd. I peeled it off and there was another whole label underneath it! The label I received says US Formula with an American flag. The label underneath says UK Formula with a UK flag. Same bottle. I included a before and after picture because I couldn’t believe it.Then there is the third-party testing. When I asked about it, they told me the third-party testing for my batch is “currently in process” and “in queue for review.” They said they did their own in-house testing.Wait, what? The Amazon listing says Third-Party Tested and Independently verified for safety and consistency. My bottle is already sitting here in my house and the third-party testing for this batch isn’t even finished yet.I really wanted to like these. There are actually a lot of things I DO like about them and the company was great about answering my questions. But made in China, a US Formula label covering a UK Formula label, and third-party testing that isn’t even finished yet is just too much for me.I’m not comfortable taking these anymore.

Pretty good formula, no product source info
This pumpkin seed oil comes with loaded with a bunch of other nutrients. I think they should make the nutrient info a little more clear of the product page though. On the nutrient label it says that the oil is virgin and cold pressed. The formula then includes some other good things good for hair growth like biotin. I did get this to target my hair growth but pumpkin seed is good for other things like prostate support as it mentions on the product page. The bottle contains about a 3 month supply. No where on the bottle does it really state the source of this product. It says US formula and manufactured for Calvon which in my experience means it was sourced or formulated outside the US. I can only hope I’m putting something legit and good into my system.

Huge Pills, Unknown Origin
I was a little disappointed with these. They are cold pressed which was nice and have a decent amount of the active ingredients in them. That was about the end of my pros.The pills are very large, about the size of a Nyquil. You are supposed to take three daily. If it had been one, I could have overlooked the size. But holy cow that is a lot of pill to take. It also makes the bottle seem like it had a lot more in it than it does. 180 pills sounds like a lot until you check the 3 a day part and realize it is only 60 days.They also say they are manufactured for a company in America but don’t say where they are manufactured. I didn’t care for that and wanted to know where. I think it should always be clear where things like this are made and it seems a little shady when they don’t say. Especially when they hide it with manufactured for an American company.The price, while not the most highest for a supplement out there, is not low. It is easy to find lower prices for similar products.Between the price, pill size, not mentioning where they are actually made, and availability of other similar products, I can’t justify these. They just aren’t for me.
