Great quality and value – hope it works!
I am really into these types of supplements these days, and I just finished this bottle. I in all honesty, however, cannot say if they, in general, and this, in particular, ever really do anything. I always hope they are helping. I never experience side effects, and my health and energy levels in my mid-fifties are generally good, so again, I hope it is helping. I really like ProHealth as a supplement company. I feel like this is a good value for a one-month supply for a supplement of this nature. The quality is top-notch, and I really like their blue bottles and white labels. The plastic bottles have a sort of matte feel to them that I always appreciate.

I really trust this brand and its quality supplements.
I’m 59 and research shows that as we age NAD levels go down significantly. I am trying to help my body in the aging process so I alternate between NAD+ , NR and NMN. I also tend to cycle off and on as some research shows that may be beneficial. I’ve been seeing the research in regards to NMNH and hadn’t really decided if I wanted to try it yet as testing and trials are still in the fairly early stages. But then PRO HEALTH popped up with NMNH and I figured now was as good a time as any to at least try it.This bottle contains 30 capsules at 125mgs per capsule…so a months supply.Bottle has lot# and expiration date stamped on bottom of the jar.There is no smell when opening the bottle and capsules are fairly small compared to the average size capsule.I wanted to start with the 125 mgs since I do cycle off and on other NAD+ products and this is supposed to work faster. I realize that per research and at my age 125 would be the absolute low end of dosing but I’m fine with starting low. As with pretty much any type of supplement in this vein I experienced no side effects nor did I experience any type of boost in energy. But then my body tends to just use supplements like this as running in the background so to speak. I have never been sensitive to any type of stimulant at all. YMMV. I do know that all my blood work is excellent so perhaps I don’t need this yet or I haven’t hit the sweet spot. Since everyone is different and again limited research on NMNH I can only go on my experience.I really like and trust PRO HEALTH as a brand. I already take several of their supplements. They have a wonderful website and are totally transparent with their third party test results/ COAs. This is mandatory for me with any supplement I take as I am assured of purity and accuracy of dosing/ ingredient amounts.IF you are considering trying NMNH I would recommend the powder for two reasons. One you can adjust the dosage if needed and two as I mentioned it is the best price point vs the capsules. HOWEVER if you want convience then by all means try the capsules.Because energy has never been an issue for me and I don’t notice any difference I honestly don’t know if I’ll continue with the NMNH or revert back to what I had been using….which is also made by PRO HEALTH. It’s nothing the brand did wrong at all. I can then wait for more testing, information and results to come in. As of now I will give this 5 stars.

A good starting point for trying NMNH
I was interested in trying NMNH because I have been learning more about NAD+ precursors and their potential role in cellular energy and healthy aging. NMNH is still a relatively new option compared with some of the more familiar NAD+ precursor supplements, so I wanted to start experimenting with it while keeping my expectations realistic.Each capsule provides 125 mg of NMNH, which is actually the lowest dosage among the different NMNH products I am planning to try. I like starting with a smaller amount rather than immediately choosing a much higher-dose product, especially when I am trying a relatively new type of supplement for the first time.I also plan to try several other NMNH products with different dosages, including powder forms rather than just capsules. That should give me a better opportunity to compare not only the dosage but also the convenience and flexibility of capsules versus powders. This 125 mg capsule gives me a useful baseline for those comparisons.NMNH is marketed as a NAD+ precursor, and NAD+ itself plays an important role in normal cellular energy metabolism and other biological processes. That is what makes this category interesting to me, although I understand that the human research specifically on NMNH is still limited and developing.So far, I am not looking for an immediate or dramatic difference in energy or how I feel. With supplements like this, I prefer to use them consistently and observe my experience over time. Trying different doses should also help me get a better sense of whether I personally notice any meaningful difference as the amount changes.For now, I see this 125 mg version primarily as my starting point for exploring NMNH. The capsule is simple and convenient, and after spending some time with this lower dosage, I plan to compare it with higher-dose capsules and powder versions to see which format and dosage ultimately make the most sense for me.

safety seal did not seem stuck on well
ProHealth is an American brand in California that manufactures their supplements in America in GMP certified facilities. They are a rare brand, one of only three that has impressed a consumer advocacy group during independent testing for having 100% of the NMN dose claimed on the label, and they publicly upload their certificates of analysis, unlike most other brands that lack this level of transparency.This is why I was so looking forward to taking this supplement, with the hope it would give me energy, but the safety seal was not very securely attached. I pulled it off the bottle, but it was hard to tell if there was any adhesive on the safety seal at all. It came off too easily. This and another similar bottle by the same brand were both delivered to me on a hundred degree day, so it might be the heat that got rid of the adhesive, but neither of the safety seals were stuck on very tightly. Despite the high quality of this brand, I’m afraid I’m not taking supplements from a bottle that does not have a proper safety seal. I did put one pill on a quarter so you can get a feel for the size.

New way of influencing NAD pathway (and from a super respected company)
Just when I thought I’d tried every way possible to supplement the NAD pathway! This is NMNH, which is the “reduced” form of NMN (chemically that means it’s gained a Hydrogen molecule). It’s fairly new and this Nexergy formulation hasn’t been put through clinical trials, only animal studies. While ProHealth didn’t invent NMNH (from what I can see it was first synthesized in 2021 by two different research groups), ProHealth currently is one of the first quality companies marketing it. They’re also making a more expensive NMNH version, in their blue label, but this Nexergy form is their attempt to offer one at a more accessible pricepoint.So I received three different doses of NMNH to try. I always always start at the lowest dose I can get my hands on, so I’m starting with 125mg. The capsules have no smell/taste and they’re smaller than standard capsules. The first thing to note is that just because the standard doses of NMN are 500 & 1000mgs, NMNH is not the same; apparently the animal studies showed that NMNH raised NAD+ faster and to higher levels than NMN does, plus it seems to positively impact other energy pathways more so than NMN does. Which all means a lower dose of NMNH should be called for. The nice thing about ProHealth creating a 125mg capsule is it allows us to go low & slow, which is especially important since the human safety trials are not yet done. Many companies don’t feel selling small doses is worth it, so I’m grateful ProHealth has seen the light on this.As for the remaining details, it came double sealed, with an expiration of 1.5 yrs, plus all the good things you want to see: produced under GMP conditions, made in US (from their website), 3rd party tested (you can request the certificates of analysis), and with a 100 day 100% satisfaction guarantee. On the other hand, this is minor, but for those of you who don’t like plastic waste, prepare yourself for seeing that the bottle is only full up to the 30 capsules line at the bottom.Fwiw, a few days on 125mg didn’t do much, good or bad. Normally I’d stick here for longer but for the sake of reviewing I’m heading to the higher doses (reviewed separately)…

It is also triple tested for purity and potency and monitored by independent third-party labs.Function-This supplement functions very well. I have been using it for about two weeks and I do notice increased energy. Even better I notice increased motivation. The supplement increases energy and focus.The capsules are small and easy to swallow.Side effects –I experienced no unwanted side effects. I have been taking NAD supplements for several years.Value –I am disappointed that the bottle contains only 30 capsules. I wish it contained more to save on shipping. I also wish that there was a higher dose option. Nonetheless, the price point is such that you can try out the product for a reasonable cost.
